I think there was an MN thread once about a cul de sac someone lived on , with a neighbour with similar motives.

You say that, by 15 I was obsessed with Def Leppard and found out where Rick Allen's parents lived. My best friend was 2 years older and could drive so we spent the entire saturday sat outside his parents house. Never did find him 😂

Joey Elliot was a regular in the airport record shop I worked in- I served him a few times. My boss was a massive fan and would get very giddy.

They managed to keep it very quiet. But then she doesn't have any social media so I guess that helps.

In a way, it was signposted before Christmas/the whole 'house move' stuff (happy endings on Doctors are very are)- but still a shock.

They've played it out well though- and gave us false hope when she recovered (I thought she was a goner at Christmas!).

I lurk here as I don’t always get to watch. Today I woke up after my shift and it was on.

The build up made me twitchy. So instead of getting up I watched.

Noo, I like Karen, she’s one of the more ( relatively) believable characters and I remember when she first joined . It was pretty clear from the episode guide though so kept hoping I was wrong 😑

Thanks for the support in my frustration at learned helplessness @Binglebong and @MadisonAvenue .
My DH once caused me several hours extra work when our son was applying for student grants, he massively messed up the one tiny bit of the online form I asked him to fill in.( I didn't have the information but he did, it was on his tax return)
And I had to sort it out, he wouldn't/couldn't and it would have meant DS missing out on £££s in grant money. Still rankles decades later!

It's funny how he manages to run his business ok and deal with customer invoices etc..but home finance is too difficult (& you're so good at it Lily.. )
