Thought I’d better start a new thread before today’s episode as the old one was almost full.

At least we’ve got a break from Nina until next week.

OP posts:
Raahh · 19/04/2023 14:05

Badgers! Not newts.

Ruhma has LEFT?! really left? That's sudden.

Bloody hell. Have they got a new producer something, doing a cull?

Binglebong · 19/04/2023 14:05

WTF!? Rhuma gone???

LIZS · 19/04/2023 14:06

Should she not make a safeguarding referral?

EspeciallyDedicated · 19/04/2023 14:07

Surely Malika should a) have other patients to attend to and b) be sounding a klaxon for the safeguarding lead.

Raahh · 19/04/2023 14:07

LIZS Ruhma would have just got the baby whisked away by social services by now.

Am I going to miss Ruhma? I never liked Ruhma - but everyone leaving at once is a bit much!

EspeciallyDedicated · 19/04/2023 14:08

And what are Bear and Tanisha doing? Was that a work course they were at.

Raahh · 19/04/2023 14:09

So, months, possibly years of abse solved in 5 minutes by the midwife?

Not buying it.

Raahh · 19/04/2023 14:10

Bit hypocritical, Zara.

You employed Nina- and Suni- without actually consulting anyone else!

Raahh · 19/04/2023 14:13

ok, so new midwife is quite sanctimonious. And tomorrow we get her back story - why do the writers think we need all this about new characters straight away, all of a sudden?

MoirasSaggyBundles · 19/04/2023 14:13

Abuser excuses. Lovely bit of toxic feminism from the Beeb. It’s all excusable because she’s insecure.

KilledByWitches · 19/04/2023 14:14

Missed this week until today. Clearly nothing is happening.
I'll come back next week 😂

Ruhma though. Bit weird.

Raahh · 19/04/2023 14:17

Killed it was very sudden, if she has properly left. No indication of that at all.

Raahh · 19/04/2023 14:20

If the character is going though, then there isn't really any need to replace them with another midwife. The job only started at te mill when Ruhma joined. They could have got in someone else, a different angle. We've had years of Ruhma and her 'mums'. Might have been nice to branch out.

MoirasSaggyBundles · 19/04/2023 14:20

And now this programme about an elderly man and 2 black people cleaning the houses of lazy, white millennials.

AnnieSnap · 19/04/2023 19:15

LIZS · 19/04/2023 14:06

Should she not make a safeguarding referral?

Of course, but in Leatherbridge, these problems are easily sorted in 20 minutes without appropriate intervention 😂🤣

ICrunchCrispsNotNumbers · 19/04/2023 20:31

Catching up. Rich seriously needs to get a grip. I want to throw something at the TV whenever I see him now.

ICrunchCrispsNotNumbers · 19/04/2023 21:34

God, that couple with the baby are a bit weird.

ICrunchCrispsNotNumbers · 19/04/2023 21:36

Oh god. 'Rupert' the bear has bumped into his ex . This should be good.

ICrunchCrispsNotNumbers · 19/04/2023 21:43

The storyline with the new parents just gets weirder and weirder. Obviously things aren't okay. Shouldn't Malika have got social services in and got a safeguarding referral? I wouldn't trust 'Katie.' With a baby at all.

ICrunchCrispsNotNumbers · 19/04/2023 21:45

'I'm ovulating, Rupert!'

Jesus Christ. 🙄

ICrunchCrispsNotNumbers · 19/04/2023 21:50

Oh, piss off, Katie.

I think Carrie might be telling the truth.

Poor Ben. Sad

Raahh · 20/04/2023 13:48

So today we get new midwife backstory.

Raahh · 20/04/2023 13:54

This is a bit confusung, because I can't tell if it's in the past, or Malika is already supposed to have started at the Mill (which it sounds like).

EspeciallyDedicated · 20/04/2023 13:55

I am confused.
