Watched Caliphate and loved it. Anything similar out there?

As the title said, I loved every minute of Caliphate on Netflix, and unfortunately binged the whole series at the weekend.
I'd like to find something similar, but am guessing it's a bit niche. A search on here came up with the suggestion of 'Black Crows' but I'm 5 minutes in, and it seems amateurish and cheesy.
Any ideas?

I loved Caliphate and also Unorthodox

There was a fantastic 4 part series on channel 4 around 5 years ago called The State. It should be available to stream somewhere

Caliphate was one of the best things I watched this year. Genuinely edge of seat stuff.

Caliphate was excellent - just far too short - needed more episodes!

Have a look at ‘Tehran’ on Apple TV. Also excellent.

I loved Caliphate, so I’m recommending American Odyssey as That’s what popped into my head!

Not sure where it’s streaming now though.

Manayek on channel 4 was recommend on here recently, I really enjoyed it
