Anybody else just watch this. I did. It was very good, really felt like you were on a journey with them. I had a few tears rolling down my face at one point.

I watched it last night. So sad for the family. Im sure they would liked to have a final resting place for him but i suppose ultimately he was lost to the mountain. Spencer is a very strong character. It was lovely to have helped 1 family at least.

I did really enjoy it, it's fascinating to learn about his brother's journey and see Spencer walk in his steps.

But I do think he was very naive not to have thought it would upset people if Mike wasn't found, he seemed surprised his wife was crying or the impact it might have on his mum. It was 20 years ago, he must have known the chance of finding him was very very slim. 7 people die on Everest each year on average (16 Sherpas died in one year alone during the making of the film 'Everest' in 2014), it seems like a huge risk of people's lives to try and find a needle in a haystack. I do understand why he wanted to.

I watched it and found it very moving. I was glad he was able to help the other family but his family must have been hugely disappointed that they didn't find Michael.

Honestly i think Spenser is a very un-emotional personal. I think he and his family have adopted a very stoic acceptance of the situation and its almost like they have closed off. My brother recently died (aged 53) and i have actively avoided the horror of it. I suppose it a way of coping. I can completely understand it. Its so sad. He was so young

He was surprised his wife cried when he rang her to let her know that they hadn't succeeded in finding michael. Even my teenage daughter who was watching it with me said, that's the difference between men and women.
