Fair enough but seeing the background I thought it could be the villa. Them advertising their brand/ her surely means they are already collaborating though right? Let's face it the episodes are filler most of the time.
That's a huge issue imo.

He was going on to the others about what he overheard from the bed after he had accepted Will's explanation (both of the comments specifically and Will's account that Jessie realised she'd gone about things all wrong)

He was belittling to Jessie's face, and seriously shit stirring elsewhere.

Why - other than misogyny - would a man think it's OK to treat a woman like that?

I was quite a Casey fan (some I know have had doubts and dislikes pretty much from the off). But this vindictive streak, and picking on a woman (he hasn't spread shit about any of the men) has totally turned round my opinion.

He was low in the recent opinion poll. Can't see any of this improving his standing.

Some of them do seem to recognise the toxic group - good to see Samie standing up for Jessie. Will looked utterly flummoxed by how vicious it was

I think he's quite cleverly turned the bad person focus around from himself to Jessie. I thought the manner in which he spoke to her was uncalled for, she didn't raise her voice and was just pointing out the boys were trying to boost up Claudia - something they didn't need to apologise for - I have to agree. He's turned it round on her, taking the focus off his sh*tty behaviour onto Jessie's shoulders. I kind of liked him until casa then he showed a different side. Claudia was far too forgiving and sadly his head was turned again pretty quickly. It's not gone down well and his master plan to get himself out the bottom of the pile is working well.!

Well, just caught up with that pile on. It's not ok. Whether Jessie should/should not have spoken to Casey it shouldn't have blown in to this - glad that Sami and Claudia were at least backing Jessie.

Extreme overreaction to a complete non-event from Casey. Jessie wasn't horrible and actually tried to reassure him that by supporting Claudia it didn't mean the boys weren't supportive of him as well. I don't quite understand why that's a bad thing. Okay, she said about Will being upset but let's be honest she was encouraged to have that chat by the producers, they probably planted that seed to.

Some truly awful Islanders this season, genuinely nasty people and it's ruining any enjoyment.

Olivia love we're not buying it, even with what little snippets we see.

But we can only make assumptions on Casey feels or felt in set moments and don't see every/ all conversations and he could have felt her saying what she did was invalidating his feelings.

I felt his initial reaction was OK as her involvement was unnecessary and I don't think he was too harsh considering I think he'd just had the talk with Claudia. I do feel it continued too far with all the other islanders getting involved but I don't think that was all Caseys fault. I don't think all the islanders start talking like that solely due to Casey saying they were talking about him in bed ( which I felt he was within his right to think they were talking about him - and I feel like Wills mask slipped in the morning after talking about it) and the original conversation.

I thought last night’s episode was pretty good!

I’ve never really been a fan of Casey, I do feel he was being ‘got at’ by the rest of the islanders over the Claudia situation and I feel he handled it pretty well.

I think Jessie is a bit fake and Will’s mask slipped when he thought their (his) place in the final might be at stake.

Olivia is sly and manipulative.

Do the islanders get to talk to each other off camera at any point?

Yeah when you consider his hideaway announcement to his reaction to Casey saying they were talking about him it was a complete 180, I don't think Casey had even really made too much of it yet when Will had started complaining.

Defending Casey " gives me the ick " when I don't generally like him

A lot of islanders seemed far too quick to jump on the bandwagon when Casey started on about Jessie. They loved that he lit the fuse so they could have a dig. Not many made an effort to stick up for her, they all lapped it up.

I actually think that Casey being so confused about why Jessie had confronted him suggests they aren't generally told by the producers to have these convos. If that's the case, surely he'd have realised this is what had happened, that she'd have been prompted?

In what way was Casey's reaction to Jessie okay? He was rude and dismissive and came across as an immature idiot. I think Jessie seemed a bit confused by Casey's behaviour!

Olivia and Ron insert themselves in to everything to get more screen time. I agree with Will, Maxwell was moving like a snake, but he was just following instructions from the puppet master Olivia.

I hope Ron and Lana, Olivia and Maxwell and Casey and Rosie are in the bottom three and they all go home!

Then bombshells comes in for Shaq and Claudia. I cannot see Tanya and Shaq working long term and her behaviour after Casa has been questionable and I can't see Shaqs family being very welcoming!

As PPs have pointed out, we all see different things from the same show. It's fascinating!
