Just got Disney as bored of Netflix and not much on Prime. Any good series you would recommend watching. Thank you.

Pam and Tommy is an interesting and fun short series

24 if you want bingeable fast paced thriller series

Latest few major Disney and Pixar movies have been pretty decent if you haven’t seen them - Luca, Soul, Turning Red, Raya the Last Dragon, Encanto, Onward, Strange World

Predator movies. If you want just watch the original Predator with Arnie in and then Prey is the latest, award winning and set in a similar period to the Revenant so different to a lot of movies. Really interesting.

Tell me Lies - just finished this and really enjoyed it.

Ourlittleharmonica · 19/02/2023 23:38

If you're enjoying Dopesick I think you will enjoy The Dropout too. Grey's Anatomy is great and Brothers and Sisters too

Elbbob · 19/02/2023 23:42

This is us
Reservation Dogs
Atlanta
Andor (From Star Wars franchise...I think you can watch it as a standalone series, it might help if you like Star Wars)

Theoldwoman · 19/02/2023 23:53

I loved Felicity and The Fosters.
Also re-watched Desperate Housewives.

shivermetimbers77 · 19/02/2023 23:56

The Bear! Seriously , watch it. It’s about a restaurant which doesn’t make it sound exciting but it’s SO good . Brilliant pacing, acting, direction, script , all of it.

Agree with a lot suggested.. probably best TV I have seen was on Disney. To add to the list I would say:
Nomadland
Banshees of Inniserin

SinisterBumFacedCat · 20/02/2023 00:57

Only Murders in the Building
Wedding Season
Agent Carter

SinisterBumFacedCat · 20/02/2023 00:58

madamepresident · 20/02/2023 04:09

The Bear
The Dropout
Only Murders in the building
Abbott Elementary
I've started Alaska Daily and it looks promising but not watched much of it

I'm not in the UK though

RedRiverShore3 · 20/02/2023 06:24

At the moment I am watching Big Sky which is still dropping episodes, we are on series 3 now

I am also watching Revenge which an older series from about 10 years ago so you may have seen that originally.

BeetleyCarapace · 20/02/2023 06:29

All the Alien movies are on Disney. Most of the sequels are absolute mince but the original is a masterpiece, and the Ridley Scott prequels are worth a watch too.

Namethattune56 · 20/02/2023 06:36

Only murders in the building
dope sick
The bear
The dropout

RedRiverShore3 · 20/02/2023 06:56

The Americans is also on Disney, I watched it when it was originally on ITV but many missed it as it wasn't so well advertised, it's very good

Twizbe · 20/02/2023 07:00

Bluey.

Don't let the fact it's a kids show put you off.

JustDanceAddict · 20/02/2023 07:20

Dopesick and Extraordinary

gettingolderbutcooler · 20/02/2023 07:25

Modern Family!

DeathMetalMum · 20/02/2023 07:29

Bones and The Americans, both two of my favourite series ever.

Dopesick is great. If you like marvel, all of the mini series. I think Jessica Jones is on there, brilliant even if you're not particularly into marvel. Only murders I'm the building also.

Crumpetdisappointment · 20/02/2023 07:40

Banshees of Inniserin
thats what i want to see
i enjoyed The Grand Budapest Hotel
which led me to Moonrise Kingdom

CosyFanTucci · 20/02/2023 07:47

We’re currently rewatching The Americans, which is still excellent. I loved Only Murders in the Building. And, as someone who can’t stand Star Wars, Andor was actually really good and more about politics than laser battles. I tried The Bear and while I can appreciate that it is brilliantly made and acted, I can’t be doing with the constant shouting!

Elsanore · 20/02/2023 07:56

There is a documentary series about New York ballet school which is aimed at kids/ teens but I really enjoyed it.

The Dropout is great

There are some animated short films that are excellent for kids and adults. Seem a bit more experimental and creative than the big budget films. There's a series about an egg who escapes from being made into sushi that's hilarious. We can't remember the name though, it's something Japanese.

Turning Red is great.

I had to stop watching The Bear, too stressful!

Welcome to Wrexham. I’m not a football fan at all but enjoyed it very much.
