So is it the same couples as s2? Michal's constant shouting about absolutely everything was so hard to listen to.

purpleme12 · 28/02/2023 22:58

No it's different couples

Yes I love this show. So glad it's back for a third season

Is anyone here getting a sense that since Orna's expanded her Team counsel her analogies in the therapy room are a bit... Too down the rabbit hole?
Like "did you feel like you were the dishes" 👀

Yes that was excruciating

NeelyOHara1 · 05/03/2023 18:28

When Cyn atom bombed a happy Yaya with the "I want to feel free to tell you about my crushes and how important they are to me" 😖😲 Will and Ping definitely needed to separate. I found Molly really irritating. I'm glad India and her husband got closer with each other.

crochetmonkey74 · 05/03/2023 18:52

Yes I didn't like Cyn at all, so toxic. It's like she hated Yaya for being nice

Initially I thought this was bloody awful but it's a part of the therapy - you learn to say what you mean and communicate fully, and do your homework about what you want to discuss rather than waffling for an hour, dropping a bombshell and being shocked your therapist hasn't got another hour to talk to you.

It’s really painful to go through (I’ve left so so many therapy sessions in tears!) but it forces you to take responsibility for your own life and feelings - ultimately really empowering. And you realise you can do it, your feelings won’t kill you, that you’re more capable than you think etc. So powerful.

Hadn’t noticed a series 3, that’s my evening sorted!

Thanks for posting this thread; have just started watching. It's fascinating to gain an insight into what goes on behind closed doors.
Also makes me reflect on my own marriage.

Mau is a manipulative pompous twat; can literally see Orla bristling!

BeingAwake · 06/03/2023 16:39

I love this programme! I binged the most recent series in a weekend.

ThePoetsWife · 02/04/2023 20:25

Binge watched this too - agree it's brilliant and it gets better each series.

Would love to know what happened to some of the couples.

FunnyMunny · 02/04/2023 20:37

I kinda think that a lot of the people in this show should have individual therapy to try and sort the root cause of their problems.
Couples therapy seems to be papering over the cracks in many cases.
Having said that Orna is fantastic and I do love the show.
It does seem incredible how people are willing to go on TV and bare their souls in this manner. The inclusion of their children in particular seems to be something that I couldn't see happening in this country.

Iwishmynamewassheilah · 27/07/2023 21:18

Joy, looks like new episodes available.

purpleme12 · 27/07/2023 21:26

Oh yes they've added more episodes into the same series.
I thought I'd seen it cos it was the same series.
Must go watch

BumpyaDaisyevna · 27/07/2023 21:29

Fresh episodes you say??!

Mumteedum · 27/07/2023 21:30

Ha...I noticed these but also now addicted to In Treatment on Now TV 😁

Doyoumind · 27/07/2023 22:20

I can recommend the new episodes. Have watched three and have really been agog at times but I do find Orna great and fascinating.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 28/07/2023 23:18

I binged the new episodes ,they're great.

FunnyMunny · 28/07/2023 23:25

I'm confused. There's still just 3 series.
Are you saying that they've added some new episodes to series 3?

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 28/07/2023 23:28

Yes

FeigningConcern · 28/07/2023 23:48

Just binged the lot. Cannot get enough of this series. Absolutely fascinating.

MrTiddlesTheCat · 29/07/2023 11:57

I'm fascinated by this programme. I do wonder why some of them are even in therapy. What are they trying to save?

Iwishmynamewassheilah · 29/07/2023 14:36

I thought that trust jumped out as a common theme. And it does not seem that polyamory is a great idea in practice.

SmartHome · 29/07/2023 16:28

I've only recently started watching this and my overwhelming impression is, why do Americans consider it 'normla' to 'open' their relationships when it cause so much hurt, anger and sadness?
