Why would anyone want to keep Will in, though? He's awful!

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 23/02/2023 13:33

Another good one is when the two bottom couples have to decide amongst themselves which of them will leave.

Normally the one in longest says they've had their chance and leaves.

I'd love to see all of the justification by Olivia why she shouldn't leave and Maxwell should

TellingBone · 23/02/2023 13:46

Could it be that the producers have listened to the complaints that when they do have a vote they always leave it to the islanders to make the final choice? Your vote at best will put someone 'at risk'. Pointless.

As to who might win - currently we're looking at least worst options. I'm hoping for a post-movie night dramatic split and a recoupling with a bombshell to win.

Just a word on Tom - I'm in the 'he's very good looking' camp. But I'd add that one of the most attractive things about him is that he's a man amongst boys. Yes, he's displayed some laddish behaviour but somehow his innate confidence sets him apart.

Ellie on the series dancer on the gladiator task I think, also gives an insight into the filming vm.tiktok.com/ZMYA2BJ1j/ apparently Lana, Tanyel and Samie wanted Ron to win and they started arguing.

Seems to be part of a bigger video but I dunno where it's from

XelaM · 23/02/2023 14:04

FirstLook is up. It almost looks like Samie is more upset than Jessie.

Mouldyfoodhelp · 23/02/2023 14:04

Ahh here it is

if you have a spare 41mins

Wow do weird that we're not shown the arguments and omg @ the Ron-obsession 🤦‍♀️

Mouldyfoodhelp · 23/02/2023 14:09

Hopefully there's more than those 2 reveals

Not that surprised that Tanyel was pro-Ron really though 😂

I'd like a vote on the two boys and two girls you'd most like to leave - because that really would give the public a proper say

I'd get rid of Olivia and Tanya (and expect the atmosphere would lighten up enormously). And Ron and Tom

the getting-rid votes were always the best, but remember that way of voting was stopped by all (most?) programmes, as it focuses on the negatives and had people going OTT on socials as everyone was just discussing how awful people were, instead of why someone should be saved

Zampa · 23/02/2023 14:44

I agree with Will in First Look. Jessie needs to forgive Will or dump him. It's not fair on him (and tedious for us) for this to drag on any longer.

Aquarius1234 · 23/02/2023 15:34

I think Will is surprised that Jessie is taking the love island game more seriously than him.
He thought Jessie was just going along with a showmance.

Yep. Hanging onto issues is never a way to progress a relationship

He’s quite young isn't he? 23?
What age is she? I’m surprised this is her second LI experience. She seems quite naive. The Aussie LI must be full of wannabes too surely?

MrsMitford3 · 23/02/2023 16:52

I am also interested that this is Jessie’s second LI experience- which admittedly made me think she was/is playing a good game. Here she is from the Oz version

CrkdLttrCrkdLttr · 23/02/2023 16:54

It’s true one would assume that someone willing to do two Love Island series was seriously focussed on their media career, not Actual True Love.

Surely people wanting A Relationship sign up on an app, or spend a lot of time in pubs or running marathons or whatever. Going on national TV suggests rather different aspirations.

TellingBone · 23/02/2023 16:58

Yes, I reckon Jessie's playing a good game. I originally thought she was going to recouple at Casa, but she now has a better reason to dump and hope for a suitable bombshell for the big finish.

In fact I think there are a few of them with the same idea.

OP posts:
CellophaneFlower · 23/02/2023 17:07

I initially thought Jessie was playing the game but her reactions now are making me think otherwise. She seems far too bothered about what Will has done to not actually care about him. You can tell she's really over thinking everything and I'm just not sure she'd do that if there were no feelings.

The trust has gone now and she'll never get past this. Especially when she gets out and watches it all, it will just consume her. I very much doubt Will has learned his lesson. Easy enough for him to think he has now whilst in there, but once he's out with desperates throwing themselves at him, I suspect he will stray again.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 23/02/2023 17:09

Allegedly two bombshells are coming in amid the chaos of movie night. 🍿 One boy and a girl

CrkdLttrCrkdLttr · 23/02/2023 17:10

But isn’t Will the media favourite? I’d sort of gathered ITV already have him lined up as the winner, preparatory to a big TV career. In which case Jessie would be daft to permanently ditch him before the show ends. She’s surely equally keen to make an even bigger splash on all our TV screens. The will they, won’t they survive as a couple only adds drama to their … journey.🤮🤑

Twonewcats · 23/02/2023 17:21

who was it who sat and ate popcorn like Martin, from a previous series? Was it Dami?

beastlyslumber · 23/02/2023 17:27

But didn't she have sex with him? If so, I expect she does have feelings for him and probably feels hurt and humiliated.

He is absolutely vile and I really hope she ditches him.

autienotnaughty · 23/02/2023 17:36

Is it me or do these islanders really not like each other? Tom and Casey are close but otherwise I'm not seeing any friendship

Chasedbythechaser · 23/02/2023 17:52

I think a lot of people can compartmentalise sex. It’s for the present, not the future. Tanya, Will are two of many.

I could never do it myself.

XelaM · 23/02/2023 18:09

I think Jessie was very invested in Will and had him down as a "nice guy" and bought into his "Farmer Will" persona. She's quite insecure for someone who has done LI twice. We never see real facial expressions from her not because she's acting but because she's had too much Botox/surgery. Her face doesn't move
