I thought this too 😆but she's so awful that I'm starting to enjoy watching her in a "car crash can't look away kind of way." 🫣

Tanya, on the other hand, is just horrible. Unfortunately, Shaq will forgive her everything and she will talk him into believing she did nothing wrong.

Casey's edit was unfortunate, but him and Will were the worst and sleaziest out of the boys by far, so I don't feel too sorry for him. He was like a kid in a candy store enjoying the girls fighting over him when he had no intention bringing anyone back.

Kai is suddenly a favourite simply because people can finally see Olivia for what she is? Nah, he isn't a saint and I'm no Olivia fan, but he was claiming to be very into her just before Casa and then literally went to calling her fake because he met a new girl.

Some of them are sweet eg Lana, Sanam....but their couplings are all whack

Him & Sanam are now my favourites. He's handling Liv perfectly & Sanam was great in holding her own with the girls.

I’m loving Kai’s complete refusal to give Liv what she wants, he is so bored of her it’s hilarious. Just leaves her gawping like a fish whenever she tries to pull him for a chat. It must be so awkward for Sanam though.

Did anyone watch when she was on the Aus version? I'm wondering what she was like on that?

There's no way he's geeky or awkward - I think people just get that impression because the original women didn't choose him. It's much more likely that he's a massive player before coming on love island.

Absolutely this. I think people want to like him because he calls himself Farmer Will. It makes people think he's kind and caring. If he was PT Will or Holiday Rep Will, people would have formed very different opinions about him.
That said, I think there is something more genuine about him - he seems tormented and remorseful with how he behaved (which was very very badly). His camp ways have dried up since Jessie challenged him. I'm not sure who he really is - the more serious man or the playing for the cameras man.

Kai has rejected Olivia twice now. The first time was when he stepped forward for Tanyel in the first episode... I don't think her ego has ever recovered from that.

Tanya is soooo defensive. She doesn't appear to care about anybody else's feelings, it's all about self preservation. I really hope Shaq sees the light now, but it's doubtful.

Martin and the popcorn was hilarious... but he did over egg it a bit 😂😂

All the girls can fuck off imo. They have total double standards. And what's the point of Lana saying the right things in the Beach Hut if she doesn't have the balls to say it in person?

I knew they'd do that with movie night... they done it last year too. Totally ruins it.

Yeah I agree that we all had the impression Will is awkward and geeky because the original women didn't like him and because he's "Farmer Will", but actually on the outside he's clearly a player. I think he's a partying rich boy who's definitely not starved of female attention. Jessie is starting to see it, and doesn't like it because she's very insecure and wants a stable/safe relationship.

If a couple of women had been interested then I think we’d have seen a different side of him from day 1.

I am still watching but it's hard going this series, seems like an unlikeable bunch tbh and I don't know if watching it in winter makes a difference.

I also think will is very aware that his farmer will persona is the reason he's on the show and has been playing up to that, I suspect the side we saw in casa was the real him more. I do think he likes Jessie and she likes him, but if I were her I'd cut my losses at this point.

Olivia is next level, I feel bad for Kai- she's relentless and it's bad no one is stepping in to tell her to stop. She genuinely thinks she is the main character and that everyone is going to be gripped and feel sorry for her- wish there'd been more public votes so far as I'm sure she'd be out. She thinks the public dislike kai doesn't she as she said she was in the bottom because of him, yikes.

I actually don't thinks Tanya was too wild to explore other options in casa seen as though her and shaq left on a bad note, her mistake imo was not being honest with him and martin. If she had said to Martin soon after coming back to the villa look now I've seen Shaq I realise I miss him, I'm open to get to know you still but wanted to be honest and see if you were happy with that or whether you wanted to draw a line, and then honest with shaq about what happened it wouldn't have been so bad. That said she's young, can't say I was a Saint either.

I like sammie but not sure why she's gone back to Tom knowing what he's like and just because of a poem. If that's the nicest thing a man has ever done for her then that's sad.

Can tell casey isn't fussed on Claudia, tbh when he first said I know who her dad is that rang alarm bells for me. She does come across as quite mean and boring to me but probably the edit.

Claudia is coming across as tough. I thought she’d be a bit classier tbh. Maybe I thought she was more like Gemma from last year. Gemma spoke up when she needed to but kept her composure and came out shining.

He didn't though. He kissed her, then told 1 of the boys he felt really guilty, then kissed her again.

He's second only to Tanya in bad behaviour imo, although Ron is alongside him. He'd built much more with Jessie than the others had in their couples.

Interesting, though. As pp said, he was sort of painted as the Dr Alex/Hugo of this year, and I fell for that, but clearly he isn't! I wonder how much is him and how much is acting. Jessie needs to leave him, either way.
