Ed Balls on Good Morning Britain

I don’t normally watch this programme but I’m travelling and have it on in my hotel room atm.

Is it just me or is he appallingly smug? And not a terribly good television presenter?

I quite like Yvette Cooper so he must have some good attributes so I am not commenting on Ed as a person, just how he is coming across on screen.

I stayed watching to see if he would be any better on the ‘hard’ news sections eg interview with Ben Wallace on Ukraine but at first he seemed unsure and was outshone by his female co-presenter (Charlotte?) and then he asked questions that were far too long and he just seems so ill at ease it’s uncomfortable to watch.

RM often struggles to conceal his boredom . He often looks exhausted too.

I remember as an MP he publicly sacked the head of children’s services involved in the Baby P affair in the H of C .
About 2children are killed every week but no other head of children’s services has been sacked let alone publicly with no warning- bastard
im sure posters will come on claiming she deserves what she got but he was just bigging himself, pandering to the newspapers demonstrating his spineless unpleasant nature.

Yvette Cooper is a lucky lady. He has a nice little twinkle in his eye.

He’s not an egomaniac and actually listens to and cares about people. The programme where he worked as a carer; threw himself into it and would have made a brilliant care worker.

My husband has met him and Yvette a few times- apparently he's a top bloke (and she's ace) and DH is quite picky
