Help!! there seems to be some kind of soap/RL cross-over that is wrecking my head...

So first of all, Summer from Hollyoaks is leaving to become lead in a West End musical, and then I find out that this is for real

Then evil Claire from Hollyoaks, turns up in Walford...still "Claire" and still evil. Is she deliberately the same character?

Is it meant to be some kind of clever soap-joke?

I'm sure there are other examples...

I haven't seen it for years, but it was absolute bobbin's when I did.

oh, its soooo much better now, dealt with some really difficult issues very maturely and sensitively, the problem is that it gets over-looked because the cast are so good lucking and is dismissed as a "teen soap" when its actually more mature than - say - emmerdale.

Well the few clips I have seen of it, DS1 has too many questions about for my liking!

I think it started off as more of a teen soap.

agree, think 7 would be perfect. but it really is v good now, with some cracking young actors!
