It's pretty hard to narrow it down. Mine are (at this moment anyway)

Utopia
Dr Who
This is England
Queer as folk
Buffy

It's really hard to narrow down, I bet I have forgotten loads.

DARK (mystery/ thriller type thing which is one of the best things I've ever watched, wish I could watch it again for the first time!)

Ginny & Georgia (more of a lighthearted drama type thing about a mother and daughter, watched it with my teen and loved it)

1883 (western prequel to Yellowstone which I've never seen but this was fantastic if you like historical)

Game of Thrones (I am a diehard fan especially early seasons)

The Office US (just pure comfort food!)

Rebellious23 · 11/02/2023 00:18

Buffy
Prison break
Happy Valley
Greys
The inbetweeners

medianewbie · 11/02/2023 00:21

Calistan · 11/02/2023 00:21

I think one that really went under the radar is life in pieces. I thought it was brilliant.

I might have to bite the bullet on the wire and office (us) I have an allergy to the office, its so widely quoted everywhere and I'm not much of a fan of most US comedy that I have swerved it.

Another vote for Succession here as it's only been mentioned once and it definitely deserves another shout

Calistan · 11/02/2023 00:45

I bet the BBC have got hundreds of brilliant series in the archives. Shame they got blocked from showing them.

absolutelyincandescentwithrage · 11/02/2023 01:16

Last Tango in Halifax

CrkdLttrCrkdLttr · 11/02/2023 12:48

I bow to no one in my adoration of Detectorists, HV, GOT and Money Heist - but, for shows made at this stage of the 21st century they are strangely monochromatic. For which reason they don’t make it into my top 5 +++

Funkyslippers · 11/02/2023 12:52

Broadchurch
Band of Gold

Alexa & Katie as I loved watching it with DD
