It sounds gorgeous but it doesn't look as inventive as the James and the Giant Peach balloon pudding.

I liked the bansky pud. With the ballon just cos it looked so recognisable

The pre-made chocolate seems a bit of a cheat but at least this one is instantly recognisable. When Alex Greene made his book pudding he had to make the rice paper pages in the kitchen, which was fiddly and time-consuming. I think Robbie should have made the chocolate on the day.

Budgie was inventive but his execution was off and he didn't always hit the brief. He deserves another go in a future year.

Random question … in the opening credits, we see a fake banana - maybe ice cream coated in chocolate and sprayed? Have I missed that, on one of the weeks I got bored watching poor chefs, or last week when I was away?

I assume they are allowed one pre-made thing each. Someone else (Avi?) was using pre-made quince cheese.

It's not quite the same though as a finished decorative element of a dish imo. I don't mind it necessarily if he pre made it, but I'd have thought it would be commented on as no chance of a 10 as it's not fair 🤷‍♀️
