I'm Anyone But Adam. Unfortunately the odds on him getting to the banquet are good as the competition isn't strong this year. He seems to be auditioning to become a returning judge.

Adam is very good but an arsehole.

Agreed. However Mark is also very good but seems very humble and lovely.

elgreco · 28/02/2023 21:10

Yes, this lot are better than the 2 previous groups

Sunbird24 · 28/02/2023 21:18

I missed it! 🤦‍♀️ Off to catch up on iPlayer.

Whitney168 · 01/03/2023 06:58

We ate at one of Adam’s restaurants last year. It was so forgettable that I had to check with my husband whether we actually went, or just talked about going.

I get the vibe that he and the judge are good friends, though.

Better than the past two weeks, phew!

what an idiot Adam is, gives me a Gordon Ramsey arrogant vibe, would hate to work for him.

kevin was nice but I feel he was there to advertise his new restaurant.

mark is talented and lovely, I worried he was undermining himself by being too self critical and humble. I’m glad the judge liked his dishes and scored him high but I’m not sure the judges at the table will like his mushroom dish as much.

I see the problem with Abi in Masterchef all the time, non British cooks that are scared their dishes are too spicy, hold back on the spices and end up being bland.

i also felt even Andi was a bit scared of Tom! Didn’t feel she was as at ease as she is with other judges.

Sunbird24 · 01/03/2023 14:40

There was much ado about Abi’s lobster wasn’t there? Although not removing the intestinal tract is a rookie error and definitely not one you ought to be making in a competition.

For me, it was the way that Adam spoke about it. Like he was the teacher and Abi was a naughty child. Who does he think he is?

PrimroseLane · 01/03/2023 15:25

Just watched this on catch up. Curious to see if it was just me who found Adam unbearable! So arrogant and he’s a hot head. Like others have said I think he fancies himself as a future judge, it’s probably part of his 5 year plan. I am hoping he fecks something up tonight and loses his cool. Literally liked everyone else in the competition so far. I like Mark and Kevin, Abi was out of his depth unfortunately. Andi is a great host, fun and knowledgable, she’s the best thing about the show.

Sunbird24 · 01/03/2023 15:40

Oh yes, one thing saying something about it with Andi & the other chefs, or just mention it to Abi when he came back, but he proper told him off. Rude.

jay55 · 01/03/2023 18:47

Looking forward to you all giving the rundown of the fall of Adam tonight.(can dream)

I wonder if his poop shoot was left in on purpose.

I'm off to watch the bake off musical, with you in spirit.

Sunbird24 · 01/03/2023 18:49

Enjoy @jay55!

Wolfcub · 01/03/2023 19:59

littlbrowndog · 01/03/2023 20:02

Evening

littlbrowndog · 01/03/2023 20:03

Wow Andi nice outfit

Wolfcub · 01/03/2023 20:05

Gorgeous outfit

EsmaCannonball · 01/03/2023 20:06

If I wore Andi's clothes I'd just look like Hyacinth Bucket.

littlbrowndog · 01/03/2023 20:07

Me too I would like like a tramp with toddlers food all over me.

littlbrowndog · 01/03/2023 20:08

He needs to do a massive sharing pie for the drama

EsmaCannonball · 01/03/2023 20:09

I mean, they could have done toad in the hole (and called it Toad in the Hall) for Wind in the Willows.

I frequently see squished badgers by the roadside. If they really wanted to be sustainable they should have driven around the Scottish countryside with a shovel and a coolbag.

🤣🤣🤣

littlbrowndog · 01/03/2023 20:10

They could have served the badger whole and stuffed it. Once it was deflattened

Sunbird24 · 01/03/2023 20:11

I’m kind of hoping Adam gets to judges but then Mark beats him. Can’t see Kevin overtaking them both

LaMarschallin · 01/03/2023 20:13

Surely Desperate Dan's pie needs horns?

littlbrowndog · 01/03/2023 20:13

That is a sad pie. Agree with what’s his name
