I can remember heats where all the chefs were so good that it was a shame anyone had to go home.

Caroline has seemed defeated ever since she got 4 points for the starter.

They all seemed haunted and the women looked as if they'd been crying. I wonder if it suddenly dawned on them after round one that

a) they should have planned and practiced much, much harder
b) they are trashing their reputations and possibly ruining their businesses. I mean, who would book Caroline's restaurant after that?
