I tried watching the first one a couple of years ago and couldn't get into it. Then my six year old put it on iplayer for some reason last week and we watched a bit and I thought I may as well keep watching this.
OMG I loved it so much. The Captain is so lovely. When he was talking Kitty out of her stage fright during the most recent Christmas special. Actually all the Christmas specials were really well done. Mike and Alison are so good natured. Mary is such a gentle soul. I loved the line where she said to Humphrey that it was 'the part that doth hold the heart' that had started to develop feelings for another ghost (don't want to ruin it for anybody who hasn't watched yet) Fanny is absolutely hilarious and I spend the whole time laughing at the faces she pulls.
Damn your eyes!! I wish I could watch it forever!
