Hmm...interesting about Rhino. I was 100% sure it was James Arthur but I didn't know who Charlie from Busted was so just had a listen. It could very very easily be him too, possibly more likely. But I recognised James Arthur's mannerisms in Rhino as well though...no idea what Charlie is like. Either way, they made no attempt to disguise their voice 😂

I just listened again to pigeon and I think they might be American. The accent is all over the place.

The posters that have been to watch this show being recorded, do you see the singers unmasked? Surely if enough people told others who is on the show it would just ruin it for many

I had read that but wondered if it was true. There is definitely an audience there when the singer is unmasked. Not sure I would be interested in going but not finding out who the singers are and having to wait and watch it on tv to see who they are

I think Pigeon is Catherine Tate. No real idea about any of the others!

Apparently the audience in the US version prerecords a set of faked responses to the masks coming off which are then merged with the actual footage for which the audience is absent. That may well be how the UK version does it.

DH, who is only watching in odd moments as he wanders in and out of whichever room I'm watching it in, has come up with the random idea that Rhino is Roots Manuva. Batshit in this case of course, but a very appealing idea that a credible male grime/dub/hip hop artist might choose to go on and show off unsuspected melodic singing skills. I don't know whether that's happened in the US.

Do you know what, your husband has just got me thinking! Rhino could be Stormzy! The build would fit as he is really tall. About 6’6 I think!

I actually felt like rhino was doing an impression of James Arthur and it won't be him. I thought I heard possibly a black male voice in there - stormzy may not be a bad shout

That's definitely a good shout. I was sure it was JA last night, but now think definitely Charlie Simpson. Stormzy is 6ft 5 and Charlie 6ft 4, so both are a good ft, physically.

Rhino is going to get to the final isn't he, and it'll torment me for weeks not knowing who he is. It's like Charlotte 'mushroom' church all over again.

Could Jacket Potato be Brian Conley? Now I've got his name in my head I can't think of anyone else. Don't think it's Shane Ritchie and have never heard Freddie Flintoff sing

Oh wow, yeah. I've heard Stormzy do other ballad type songs, but that one definitely has the same tone as Rhino. I need to go and check out the clues again now.

Some of my friends think this show is just a cheesy gimmick and refuse to watch. They don't know what they are missing. I bloody love it! 😊
