Rewatching in readiness for the new series.
Its so dark isn’t it.
It’s like watching it through my fingers, revolted and horrified. It’s traumatic as a story line.
Such fantastic acting.

Watched Season 1 yesterday. Oh my word! I was imagining it to be more like Last Tango In Halifax before I watched it. How wrong was I?
Absolutely gripping. I am not good at binge watching normally. Like someone else said, I watch too much true crime so I can cope with most things but that scene with the police officer and the white van was horrific.
Worried about watching season 2 now as this thread seems to suggest not as good but will persevere in readiness for 3.

Me & dh often look at each other when out and about and one of us will whisper “BORNING” in Vilinelle fashion when it’s totally inappropriate.

I’m in episode two of series one and really struggling to watch it .the whole captive woman being raped by a psycho is really upsetting me. Should I carry on?

Oh god yes. You need to see what happens to that character. It’s tricky viewing at times but incredible.
