I was really pleased to see that this was on yesterday. It was very good. I love S and H- and really hope there is another sereis, but I can't find anything to say there will be one, which is a shame.

No, a fifth series hasn’t been confirmed yet - Mark Benton has said so on twitter. Hopefully the Christmas one got good viewing figures and that gives BBC the impetus to agree another series!

Chessie I hope so- I always think it's wasted in the afternoons, it seems to get some good actors in it, and the plots aren't too bad. I love Mark Benton. All of them ,actually- they just seem to have good chemistry as 'team'.

I've just finished watching it and felt sad at the reference to the Quern's speech. How strange it will be to watch Charlie boy's speech. I don't know if I will but might with the dc as part of history.

Last year we had a Christmas special of this wonderful show and now it's not being renewed?! The BBC are quackers!
