Just about to watch Ep 3 as there's bugger all else on tv. It's not very good, script, acting, direction . . . And the main guy, the 10 years as a Redcap chap, seems a bit, well, slumpy, for recent ex military. Surely this won't make a series? It's an afternoon watch.

Take your point about Midsummer but its a cult! You have to immerse yourself like I do. It's very comfy.

Just went through the thread to see if I commented and I didn't, so I don't think I watched it 😆. Might find it on catch up before series 2.

I will be expecting the characters to have bedded in a bit. I need a proper murder with a decent storyline. I want to see how they cope with the bus gates. And I expect a few rants about the amount of roads closed. And maybe a local cafe/pub this time. And a fit like. Please.

I really enjoyed this and am looking forward to series 2.

Yes it was. A bit different as well, with the focus on the ex army guy moving to the police. As soon as he came on screen, I remembered it all so turned off. Awaiting series two.

Ramiro Simpson is very handsome! His brown coat is fugly but in those suits 🥰 Thecway he works reminds me of me and how I think differently to a team and get in trouble for it. I generally don't speak up now having learnt my lesson but he kicks ass!
