Season 1 was the best adaptation of a book I've seen. Very excited for tomorrow!

Absolutely loving this series - I read the books over the last couple of years and was so worried in case the adaptation didn't hold up, but it's been even better than I'd hoped, particularly Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb - I worried that they would take down the character but he's just as deliciously terrible as the books and I love it!! 😂

Something really comforting and old fashioned in a good way about this show. I enjoy all the different characters.

The books are fab, definitely recommend them! The eighth one has just come out and there's a couple of short stories as well! They've rejigged things a bit and brought some stuff forward but they're definitely worth a read!

Have been ill this weekend and binge watched S1 and S2 to date. Absolutely loving them, good old fashioned spy thriller without being too dark and drab and humorless.

I bloody love this, and so does DH, which is a bonus as we hardly ever like the same things. And I’m totally having

Just started watching the first series. It’s great. Really think Jack Lowden would be good as Bond. Much better actor than the current favourite for the part. He has a natural charisma like Daniel Craig.

Bloody loving it and I think I've cracked the series 2 ending. Gary Oldman must have a blast playing this part.

Oh I was hoping there'd be a thread on this. What an excellent show. It took me a little while to get into the rhythm of S1 even though I'd enjoyed the first book but after the second episode I was hooked. Some really fantastic acting and the casting is perfect.

The books are all 99p on Kindle today.

Not on my side of the Atlantic, sadly.

I have only read the first book but DH has read all of them and is a big fan so we were very keen to see this.

We don't have AppleTV and no prospect of getting it. So, yeah, seen it but probably not legitimately. Loved it though. If there was anyway of buying this as a Dvd or anything we certainly would.

Seems such a shame that one of the best things on TV wasn't on a mainstream channel.
