I can only presume at some point they will not reveal their status upon elimination.

So they will have no idea if there are traitors in then mix or not.

They had to take the Traitors' Oath and promised Claudia that they wouldn't.

Glad to have found a thread about this show. We’re all hooked in our house and we never watch reality TV. Think we’re enjoying it so much because it’s a copy of the card game Werewolf except the werewolves and villagers are now the traitors and faithful.
We love playing the game with big groups, particularly the dds. Main difference is you create your own persona in Werewolf (I love being a bawdy wench, or the baker’s wife) so you don’t have to play yourself. This series is much meaner. Not surprised we’ve had tears, it must be a total mind fuck having to work together in the day only to have to nominate somebody to be be removed in the evening.
Big personalities of any variety will get eliminated in one way or another very quickly. There are a few characters I barely remember seeing or hearing from, they’ll last longest I bet.
