Can't see a thread. What is this shite?

OP posts:

Yes , Wilf is not doing well as a traitor.
What happens if all 3 traitors are eliminated before the 12 weeks are up? Do they appoint new traitors?

ButtonSister · 01/12/2022 22:05

If 2 traitors betray the 3rd one, what's to stop the 3rd traitor denouncing the others when he or she gets kicked out?

MissMarpleRocks · 01/12/2022 22:06

I so want to watch the next episode now based on that trailer but not on iplayer 😬

I think it was mentioned at the 1st episode that if they lose a member they can potentially recruit and turn one of the faithfuls

QueenOfThorns · 01/12/2022 22:08

When didn’t Aaron just say “What possible use could knowing details of your massage therapy training be to me if I was a traitor?” It was such an odd reason to suspect him!

Also, I agree that Wilf is a liability. They need to get shot of him and recruit Maddy, who is obviously clevererer than everyone thinks Grin

MissMarpleRocks · 01/12/2022 22:10

Maddy is sharp I have to say. This is my kind of program.

For whatever reason it seems that John really dislikes Aaron and wants him to be the traitor. The psychology behind their reasoning of who to vote is very interesting.

Part of me wants them to vote Aaron out just so he can rub his innocence on their face as he exits...

CurlyhairedAssassin · 01/12/2022 22:17

I had seen the trailer for this but missed it all till i was flicking through the channels and there it was. A group of overdramatic, hysterical people arguing and putting their hands up to their faces, one of them walking out crying being told to take deep breaths, and I thought "What the HELL am I watching?"

Left me feeling a bit dirty. LIke I'd watched something I shouldn't have. Odd. Odd. Odd.

Well, maybe it would have made more sense if you’d turned on sooner than the end of the third episode! Smile

I think John is a bully. Or edited to make it seem that way. Aaron was genuinely upset & asking politely & John just responded so agressively. No need for that. I hope John goes pronto.

RedToothBrush · 01/12/2022 22:31

I am loving it so far!

Pottedpalm · 01/12/2022 22:38

So today they have to pick three people to go on trial, but will the Traitors choose who goes from the three?

I thought that’s what Claudia said. Are they going to make Wilf one of the three to get the heat off him a bit?

Fourfurryfeet · 01/12/2022 22:49

Only just seen the third episode, and really enjoyed it. Its the TV version of 'mafia' that I've played with groups of friends.
Lot funnier playing amongst friends!
In our version, it comes down to a couple of people at the end - if a traitor is left in last 2 at the end theyve won.
I'd vote masseur off just as he's so annoying!

Fourfurryfeet · 01/12/2022 22:52

I think they won't put Wilf up on trial as other traitors know he might give it away. Unless they want to get rid of him as a weak link.

I would guess they'll pick Theo, Aaron and whoever else has had a nomination, as it looks like a reason.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 01/12/2022 22:57

I'm really enjoying it but it's a bit mad how overinvested they are, yes I know that there's money involved, but all the shouting and crying is a bit much!

Romeiswheretheheartis · 01/12/2022 23:13

Some of the reasons for suspecting someone's a traitor are ridiculous - they're only traitors because Claudia tapped their shoulders a couple of days ago, it's not an intrinsic part of their personality!

WhatsitWiggle · 01/12/2022 23:21

John was really mean there, I dislike the holding the hand up and shouting over someone. Aaron had had a panic attack, poor bloke, must have been so hard sitting there have so many people give reasons why they think you are two-faced.

Choosing Ananda as a traitor was a clever move on the producers part - she's a quiet, middle-aged woman, she's going to fly totally under the radar.

EdieLedwell · 01/12/2022 23:58

Yes John was vile to Aaron, (who looks
Like my ds, so I'm extra fuming).

What was he on about? "You're talking through me" no he wasn't!

In the trailer for the next episode he's even more nasty.

Ugh

MajesticWhine · 01/12/2022 23:59

Can anyone fill me in - who got kicked out tonight?

EdieLedwell · 02/12/2022 00:11

Imran

MajesticWhine · 02/12/2022 00:13

Thank you

zen1 · 02/12/2022 00:18

I quite liked John until today’s episode. Now I’ve gone right off him! He was really aggressive to Aaron. As an aside, I think John might fancy the pink-haired guy (can’t remember his name).

caringcarer · 02/12/2022 00:27

I like it but really they are having to pick a person to go based on nothing really.

ChilomenaPunk · 02/12/2022 03:32

I'm not sure whether I like it or not yet. Seems a bit incongruous, at least certainly on the BBC, in these days of heightened awareness of mental health issues, that the programme is all about manipulating and upsetting people in the name of entertainment.

It's also horrible that the first people singled out were disabled or from ethnic minorities, and that the black woman contestant was described as two faced last night.

Most of the contestants seem very sheep-like and easily led. It's like some psychological experiment on conformity and unconscious bias, and it seems unethical.
