Wilf leaves most the parenting to his wife (great big presumption here)
majority of parents lie to their kids in December (depends if you teach your kid about FC and they are old enough/not too old for it)
If you’ve ever worked with children you will lie to them too (sweeping generalisation that applies to pediatric nurses I suppose?)

all of which is opinion piled on opinion to reach conclusion =
proves my theory that mothers find it easy to lie, they do it all the time.

It's not proof, it's just a theory based on opinions added to a sexist presumption applied to an individual, when we know NOTHiNG about Wilf's personal-life except there are kids & a financee.

I don't think parenting has got anything to do with whether people are going to be good at this game.

I am sure I read somewhere that in the Australian version they re-do the votes in the event of a tie. Maybe that’s happening here but we just haven’t seen it on camera or maybe the situation hasn’t come up yet

I would have liked Alex to be a traitor from the beginning. Interesting dynamic of one person from a couple lying to their partner

Also really dislike Maddie. I would have definitely told her to shut up by now if I was in there. Although she is right, she is tunnel visioned it is annoying and not great TV

The ones who are on Twitter seem to be enjoying it. I imagine they have a bit of distance from it now and are enjoying being the ones who know how it all pans out.

I also like the way Amos supports Andrea when they are doing thehide and seek task and she says go on ahead and he says we're a team and sticks together even though that makes the team slower. That is lovely. And he is backing Maddie who I applaud for her tenacity with Will (although she has accused about 50% of the players so I don't think she's particularly insightful)

I'd most like to see Theo out next. I didn't like the way he accused Imran of being cold and suggested he needed to work on that. In my opinion Imran was calm and collected and Theo has been ruled by his emotions.

I like Maddie's sense of humour when she says she'll retrain as a magician and that she'll put her job at the care home on the line when she is taking the piss out of Tom.

I read that article on the BBC where all the contestants were interviewed and so many of them say how good they are at reading people, how they can tell when people are lying etc. and I think what a load of crap. They haven't spent enough time with these people to know what the individual 'tells' are. I think Amos has the right idea, try to find out who are the faithfuls and do that by casually finding out about their backgrounds, subtly find out whether they really want to win by discussing other seemingly irrelevant stuff etc. I would have thought Wilf's completely over the top reaction all the time to people he hardly knows would be a huge giveaway but apparently not.

I quite like Maddie as well, at least she has a sense of humour.

She cracked me up when she told Alex that if she ever broke up with Tom, the picture of him with a cross over his face would be a good one to have. Even Alex laughed.

When is traitors actually on? I've been watching it on iplayer and now I've run out and champing at the bit for more.

i think the next episode is Wednesday 9pm

14th, 15th & 16th (Weds, thurs & friday) this coming week

Then 3 more episodes something like 22nd-24th or 21st-23rd

Is it worth digging out the Australian version in the meantime? It's finished so we could watch it all.

The Mole was great! I liked both series, Jersey and Canada. I don't think it had that good viewing figures sadly and I think probably quite expensive to film. The challenges were more to the forefront and I think it was quite clever and interesting that people seemed to all get along iirc and so the mole was really surprising. The very charming and personable David in series 1 was well chosen.

But relying on more of humans interacting and beginnings of paranoia, set in one location with only one low cost challenge per episode is definitely less expensive!
