I'm now starting to watch the first episode. I love both AC and LW so it's a winner already with me!

Thanks for this @Elderflower14 hadnt heard of it!

But.. does she dress up as AC? Always spoils things when she does her silly dressing up

There are always new younger readers to discover her books.

But if a book has been out for over 50 years, then you can't say you can't have spoilers!

Shellingbynight · 28/11/2022 22:33

@mum2jakie I agree, not sure the concept of spoilers applies really.
@DunkingMyDonuts no she doesn't dress up as AC.

I think she’s great. Love her programmes
and found this series very interesting. I did find the lack of information about Christie’s child annoying. AC just seemed to do what she liked . What happened to her daughter whilst she was in Egypt etc?
Also I would have liked to have known more about her siblings and her relationships with them. Did she have close friends? So much was glossed over. I found it frustrating.

I think discussing the "novel" aspect of Roger A was necessary and yes obviously a spoiler, but I found it interesting.

I might take a swig of cyanide if she repeats the "not all that they SEEM" motif one more time though ... We've got it, alright?!

she had to have a voice coach due to how she pronounces her Rs

It didn't work. Started watching with audio description before I realised it wasn't meant to be on!
