I like Brennan. He seems kind, genuine and really cares for Alexa. He’d make a good husband but Alexa seems a bit cavalier about his feelings and generally a bit brash. I’m not sure they’ll go the distance.

I don’t find Colleen likeable (don’t get her as particularly attractive either) but I think Matt is pretty troubling and there is something uncomfortably controlling about him. Think she should run.

Nancy appears lovely, sincere, switched on and is very pretty. I hope she realises that Battise is behaving awfully. I hope she definitely leave him at the alter.

SK seems like a cool guy and is handsome. I warmed to Raven briefly this week after finding her too cold and calculating in the pods/honeymoon. BUT the whole thing about him paying for her flat whilst he does his masters. Seriously. They couldn’t manage long distance - just can’t see it.

Controversially - I like Zenab and Cole. The angle seems to be that he’s immature and flighty and she is insecure and needy. But there are moments of understanding between them that gives me hope that they might get through it - I think she’s experienced a lot of trauma and needs someone to fight for her. They are also a drop dead gorgeous couple too.

I don’t know why I’m watching this to be honest. I just want another Lauren and Cameron!

Andrew seemed a lot more human outside of the pods: he's clearly someone who needs a drink to talk to women.

@Catslovepies yes I agree. I thought that was his immaturity coming through. I thought the way he brought it to his discussion with family was really bad as well. I thought she held her own well.

I do think Matt came across as a bit aggressive but then I do think there is a huge amount of trauma with what he said about his ex getting pregnant by someone else... though he's super fast to cut and run and seemed a bit drama over the whole club thing. Though he wants a more grown up relationship then I think she's capable of... I also don't think out of all the women she's the most attractive there for sure so don't get the hype!

I thought batise acted super creepy when Nancy was chatting with Andrew though, she was crying because of him but he just made it super awkward.
It's very cringy TV this season.

No one has made it properly since the first season... I feel the wrong type of people are attracted to this show and a lot are super superficial.

Oh I agree the abortion discussion needs to happen between any couple before getting serious.

It's just rarely seen on us tv shows like this, generally people there are far more religious as well.

I am not sure any will last. Did we here what Andrew and Nancy though of each other in the flesh? Did they like what they saw.

I can't believe Cole made no effort to tidy up before bringing his future wife let alone tv cameras into his flat. Or even flush the loo!!

Hmm, I don't get red flags from Matt. I think he's been really badly hurt and affected negatively from that. I'm just seeing the scene where he is talking to Cole in the bar he was quite self aware about how he didn't fully listen to Colleen as the first few sentences were all he could hear due to his trauma. I think he might struggle with a relationship until he's dealt with his trauma, but I don't see abuser in him. Could well be wrong but just the vibe I get.

Bartise is just one big walking red flag. Banging his hand on the counter shoutint looks do fucking matter at Nancy as if she's not incredibly attractive, more so than him!

Ok spoke to soon.. only now seeing the scene with Matt blowing up about Colleen being at the club, again it does seem to be coming from a place of fear of getting hurt, rather than wanting to control her BUT him having that fear would by extension control how she behaves so it just circles back to him really needing to work through the trauma before he has another serious relationship.

Honestly though - I don't think anybody should be getting married and I don't have faith in any of them going the distance!

Nancy and Bartise are doomed, no question there.
Colleen and Matt will implode, he is just not ready for a relationship and has massive issues he needs to work through that stem from his ex wives affair. I'm not convinced Colleen is either (although for different reasons).
Zanab and Cole are just very different people, Cole is too immature and they are not suited.
Alexa and Brennan, I don't think she's as into him as she says. I think she needs a lot more than he can give her, or atleast very different things. They don't seem a good match.
SK and Raven again just seem ill-suited. She seems very superficial and he is the opposite. Wanting him to pay her rent while he studies full time and saying she wants a better quality of life instantly from having a husband? Fair enough wanting to maintain yours while he's gone, but expecting him to pay her rent was a bit

I don't really understand why she thinks he should pay half the rent. She talks about being an independent woman who makes her own money, so why would he pay half when he has his own place? Is it that she feels cheated getting married and not being better off than single?

Yes. I mean I know the first 2 series have only yielded one successful marriage each, but this actually feels like it could be the series everyone says No.

Oh I loathed them though, particularly Amber.

That's sad about Nick and Danielle. But they were both a bit "off" I thought, I was surprised they were the ones who succeeded.

I don't think Nick was ever going to find what he was truly looking for on that show.

Am I the only person who doesn't find Raven as stunningly attractive as she's made out to be? Obviously she's hardly ugly but I truly think Nancy is better looking. Not that either of them asked.

@HailAdrian I totally agree! She is clearly not ugly but I think Nancy is a lovely looking woman, like the one from Jane the virgin a bit maybe?

I think Raven and Bartise are just both very physically fit. And she's got great hair but I don't think either of them are half as beautiful as they obviously think they are.

I didn’t believe in any of the couples from season 2 although the divorces seem amicable.

Im not sure whether something has changed with the format? Series 1 felt like it went at a slower pace for us and them. I think there’s more mixing and exposing them to other people they spoke to in the pods. Ironically creating drama is actually less satisfying than seeing people making connections.

Totally agree re Batiste and bringing up the abortion discussion with his parents. I think he was just wanting to show that their values/approaches are irreconcilable. His family had just asked who she was and what her goals were and he talked over her.

There does seem to be a lot of emphasis on the men's financial position. When Raven said she expected SK to pay half her rent I wanted him to say if you pay half of mine. That said it does seem daft to go on the programme when you're just about to start a degree.

Cole/Zanab and Colleen/Matt are just boring me now.

I warmed to Andrew out of the pods. He was open about proposing to Nancy and getting shot down. He didn't try to spin it to make himself look better. I also laughed when Bartiste interrupted Nancy and Andrew talking and asked if he should be worried. Andrew didn't rush to reassure him because he knew Bartiste is the type of guy who'd be more interested in Nancy if he thinks someone else finds her attractive.

Agree about Andrew, wonder if he got a really terrible edit and actually had some good moments in the pods and not just batshit ones.

Not that I think anyone should change up their life for a man. But surely moving with SK to LA would be a good move for Raven, teaching Pilates and working in clubs would be very doable in LA, and no doubt they all get agents and pursue their 5minutes of fame once the show airs, which again, loads of opportunities in LA.

Matt falling out with Colleen and being all PA raised major red flags for me. Controlling or what! Although at the pool party Colleen really, really was lapping up the admiration from Cole, and I wouldn’t be happy if DH said “you’re cute too” if a woman said she found him attractive.

Then again that’s what you get Matt for proposing to a girl who kept going in the pods til somebody popped the question 😂

Did anyone else think Cole was trying to move in on Alexa too but she kept shutting him down? At the pool party, he told her all his issues with Zanab. Then at the bar, they had the sex conversation where Alexa very quickly told him that her and cowboy had got over their initial issues and were having amazing sex.
Maybe Cole likes Colleen because she's the only one being open to his flirting.
I must admit after meeting Nancy's scarily protective brothers, I didn't think Bartiste would ever be brave enough to leave her. She seemed genuinely worried they would fight him 😄
