They should put people of similar ages in really or at least the men should be a touch older. A 30 year old woman wanting to settle down is only going to get heartbreak from a 25 year old guy, now matte how “compatable” they initially seem.

The way Cole negged Zanab was so off he has no emotional intelligence whatsoever and no understand of the things you let go or don't say in the interests of the relationship or the other persons feelings. He is GARBAGE

Colleen crying like a child and Matt ignoring her and eating his tea. It was very parent and child and as such felt weird as fuck.

Batise asking Nancy if she would say yes Now, and she said yes, and he was visibly crestfallen. He has already mentally moved on to Raven. GARBAGE. But Nancy must have the hide of a rhino to really not seem to notice.

Raven was very astute though, by noting his interest is only physical. He dismissed her in the pods.

I'm part way through episode 5, Battise is this seasons Shania, he totally expected Raven to fall at his feet.

I'll be catching up tonight but Bartise ( in ep 4?) Saying that he basically stops traffic! Erm not with that haircut mate! He is a decent looking man but not sure he ia showstopping like he thinks he is.

SK seems sweet but I can't see the passion for Raven and vice versa. Hopefully it builds though.

Nancy and Andrew conversing is like some weird dual cringe

Nancy did a great job basically not giving Andrew the time of day despite her problems with Bartise. I really like Nancy and SK. I also quite liked Raven right up until she said that SK would need to help pay for her flat even if he was living elsewhere.

I do understand the bar work thing - it's one step away from stripping basically. Skimpy costumes and lots of flirting and putting up with misbehaviour from drunk men in order to get big tips and sell overpriced drinks.

I did not understand why Bartise and Matt got so heated, I wasn't properly concentrating.

Matt was angry because Colleen had said she was on her way home to him but instead went out to a club late at night. Bartise was yelling at Matt for overreacting to this, saying he wished he had what Matt had in his relationship and Matt should calm down and not mess things up.

Bartise is not hot! He gets less and less attractive the more he says how attractive he is! When I first saw him I thought he was ok looking, nothing amazing. Now I think he’s a bit weird looking and the only good thing about him is his name reminded me I needed dry shampoo.

Cole is probably the best looking but he seems very hard work. If I had to marry one, I'd probably go for SK. I haven't watched the new episodes yet though. 😁

Am on episode 6 and a lot of discussion is on abortion (very sensible) and the couples differing views.

Which is interesting to see,not often shown. Though not a topic I'd ever discuss with my in laws!

I felt really sorry for Matt at first. Now I really want to hear his ex's side of the story. He reminds me of abusive men I've known in the past..I hope Colleen gets the fuck out of there.

Nancy, SK and Zanab are my favs as they all seem genuinely lovely and looking for that family connection. I think Nancy is STUNNING, bartise can’t see what he has because he doesn’t value a woman with a feminine body. He’s talking himself out of it. At first I thought he was immature to being up her pro choice stance with his clearly pro forced birth family, but now I wonder if he was being manipulative to get a way out of the relationship? It’s a shame because they really seemed to connect. However the more I see of him the more my skin itches. Run Nancy Run!

colleen isn’t ready for a serious relationship until she’s learnt how to lover herself. Cole comes across similarly egotistical and fuck boi like. Both him and bartise are young though, not mature enough for what they say they want!

raven is making it hard for SK, but mumsnet would advise her to keep her lines of employment open and not follow a guy who could dump her with nothing after she funded his life while studying… it’s a hard one but I hope they make it as they seem the only ones who are mature enough to make it work.

I think he threw her to the wolves with that abortion conversation with his family. He wants out. He is delusional about his looks and life will suck when he's a bit older and the muscles gone.

I thought the abortion conversation was fair actually. I know I had that exact conversation with my DH before we got married.
You can't get pregnant and then realise one of you would abort for Down's Syndrome or a similar condition, but the other wouldn't. They are both valid positions but it's a massive difference in values. I don't understand why Nancy wasn't drawing a line under the relationship then and there.
I agree with the PP about Matt - definite controlling vibes and undercurrents of aggression. Colleen should run.
I felt so sorry for little cowboy (cannot remember his name!) when he looked so pleased that Alexa wouldn't take their future DCs' bedroom doors away! From his reaction and his comments, I think his childhood was really tough.
But my favourite part was when Matt made the cameraman answer him when he was ranting about Colleen. I wonder if the cameraman negotiated a speaking fee for that day's work 😄

Yep it was very disrespectful to put her in that position, also his sister had just asked Nancy what she did and she was saying she loves speech pathology and Bartise cut her off to make those abortion comments to his family.

I found Bartise's whole take on the abortion question so offensive. He said "you get one pass" meaningif you're young and you've made a mistake you can have an abortion. Basically meaning if he gets a girl pregnant by accident then sure that's a pass she can get an abortion...unless she's had one before in which case she's just a bad person and he can't be held responsible for her choices. And if he gets a woman pregnant on purpose then she has to have the baby regardless of her own wishes if the baby has downs syndrome or another serious condition. But you can be damn sure in that case he's not going to be doing most of the childcare himself! Just really, really awful.
