I'm really going to try not to binge the first four in one sitting 😂

Cole and Zanab. I don’t really know how they managed to match in the pods. I actually don’t like either of them. I don’t think either of them are shown in a good light.

Just fully caught up and

the bit they showed at the end. It’s a bit of a non event.

I think I enjoyed season 2 more.

Yikes what a watch. Cole was no angel but Zanab's speech at the aisle, the clapping in front of his guests was totally unnecessary and to me, just reflected badly on her. The humiliating pile-on at the reunion I hated. You could see Cole was genuinely confused and exasperated, and the grief coming his way was so OTT.

Hated Brennan chipping in throughout too. What a smug arse. Would he pipe up to Alexa like that? Zanab and the girls clearly had it covered! The fact he didn't then have any dirt re the stag makes me think Zanab's version is the dodgy one. The Cole onslaught was uncomfortable viewing and Bartise and Matt got away with murder, by comparison!

Amazed the other couples are still together. Colleen should run!

And btw I did AGREE with Zanab's logic, no way should she have married him. Just think the demonising of Cole seemed well out of proportion to what actually went on between them.

Oh yes I'd forgotten that. I think it's a bit embarrassing for them both that after all these years and X number of kids later, Nick felt the need! No idea how that smug pair get this gig, they offer nothing!

The only purpose showing that clip had for me was showing how totally unsuited they were for one another, totally disconnected.

I felt quite uncomfortable watching Ze the whole way through. She treated Cole so badly, and got zero stick for it. Cole said he was more physically attracted to someome else (bit of a dick move) and was dragged over hot coals. She picked out parts of his personality and bashed them on a daily basis.
There seemed to be a shift in Ze when Cole said at the altar that he couldn't do it before they said the 'I do's'. It was as if she was so hurt that he would dare reject her that she just turned pure evil. Then made up all this stuff about him controlling her diet etc to try to defend herself. Their whole story line would put me off watching the show again. If a guy hurled that many passive aggressive insults at his Fiancé we would be screaming LTB he's abusive! Totally uncomfortable viewing... and Matt. What a controlling man. Why are these toxic relationships being celebrated 🤢 run away Colleen!

imo Cole acted like a player the entire series. From the Colleen comment to Zanab; to hitting on Colleen in the pool; to talking to Alexa about her sex life in the hope of finding a wedge between her and her partner. I don't blame Zanab for saying no. I don't even begrudge her the speech at the altar if that had been closure for her. But I think it's clear that some people confuse drama, speeches and applause with being empowered and having boundaries. It's as though they relate to relationships through film moments. The reunion showed Zanab hadn't actually dealt with any of the issues the series had thrown up for her.

Interesting what a PP said about the trailer that made it seem as though Alexa's wedding didn't go ahead. Maybe they make them film two 😄 One where they say 'yes' and one where someone says 'no'.

I know, they are absolutely terrible. It’s not a good presenting skill for them to say “Oh my God, Coke is that true, or is Zanab a LIAR?!”

I think people need to remember that the most controlling people aren’t the loudest most obvious controllers - it’s microagressions like “are you gonna eat that?!” WRT pieces of fruit, that happen every day, all the time and build up a bigger picture that he wants her to lose weight and is pecking slowly at her self esteem until she either breaks or feels bad for eating. Please let’s not think that just because Cole is immature and Dopey that he can’t be a nasty piece of work. We’ve seen it with our own eyes

I just finished it all this morning and I honestly felt a bit bad for Cole. Yes he was too immature for this but I don't think the tangerine thing was as bad as it was painted, although I understand that it may have been a final straw on top of a lot of other things. I did feel bad for him when he said he didn't understand what happened at the wedding, I think he was completely blindsided. He did do plenty of stuff I didn't agree with through the series tho!

Poor Colleen, there's definitely a reason they're not living together, don't know if they were just making it to the reunion but I don't really see them going the distance.

Nick and Vanessa are terrible hosts, I think I said this during the first season as well - they just don't dig into anything juicy or put anyone on the spot - that's the point of having a reunion!!

But that’s the whole point - there was no tangerine thing… it wasn’t a thing. It didn’t show anything of what Z claimed. She lied.

I did wonder if Nancy would get back with her ex considering they obviously still have a working relationship together.

RE: Nick and Vanessa - I was more enamoured with them when they stood up to the ridiculousness of Shake last season.

This season… hmmm… they’re a bit boring. I wanted some proper questioning of Bartise and that didn’t happen.

Bartise had some proper defensive aggressive energy in the reunion. I just felt Nancy deserved some more answers.

Im curious as to whether Matt is still giving Colleen a hard time about her conversation with Cole, because it DID seem to me that it was alluded to them still having discussions about it.

After initially thinking SK and Raven were boring, they seemed the most normal at the reunion.

It was one moment in their day that we saw but to Zanab, if that happens 50 times a day and she knows, because she’s immersed in it, that it’s always a dig about her weight, then I can 100% understand where she’s coming from. She’s not saying that’s the only instance where she felt he was being controlling, it’s just an example that they happened to have footage of

Bit isn’t it funny that this was the one “incident” that she had remembered to the point of telling the others about it as well as mentioning it during the reunion, so it was obviously one that she felt serious enough to stick in her mind.

I think Zanab is insecure and has her own issues, and Cole clearly irritated her from the start as soon as they left the pods. Cole is immature and fairly simple in his approach to others, and comes across as inexperienced and lacking the ability to pick up on some social cues and inappropriate comments. I don’t think either are abusive, but they very clearly should not have got as far as they did together. And there was no excuse for how Zanab behaved at the altar, which is far worse than anything Cole did.

I watched the cuties scene and thought it showed she had taken him up the wrong way - it was just her insecurities etc.

But then I watched back some of their screen time and now I dunno. He's says some pretty unforgivable things to her and that's on camera. And he has totally dead eyes through their more serious talks.

I don't know about the weight comments, but I can imagine him chipping away at someone.

4.5 months after 2 months dating is a massive red flag. Surely LIB is the last show you'd want to go on after a previous rushed marriage.

The biggest takeaway is they were badly matched and if neither of them could navigate out of that situation perhaps the show should be structured so they get support. It's impacting people's physical and mental health.
What's interesting to me now is how much social media has jumped on it so they can chase after a woman with pitchforks. How many women cried on LIB? Quite a lot. One white male cries and the internet is on fire with calls of 'burn the witch'. I mean posters who've never been on here before suddenly turned up to call Zanab names.
The show also needs stronger hosts. The reunion shouldn't have been allowed to become all about Cole and Zanab. They were not the only dysfunctional couple on this series.
I read somewhere that Colleen's friends were all defending Matt. And 'allegedly' that both cowboy and Alexa's dad had criminal records. Maybe the producers would rather have people arguing about tangerines than have to answer basic background check questions.
Also why are they called cuties? It it all small oranges or only tangerines?

Did anyone else notice Alexa saying she only wears an outfit once and how many clothes she has like she's a fashionista and then she comes to the reunion wearing that?!
