"Love Is Blind season 3 premieres with the first four episodes on Wednesday (Oct. 19) at 3 a.m. ET.

Episodes 5-7 will drop Oct. 26, episodes 8-10 will come out Nov. 2, and the finale and reunion is scheduled for Nov. 9."

I'm really going to try not to binge the first four in one sitting 😂

I think Cole said stuff without thinking and Zanab's insecurities mean she massively overthinks everything. I did feel sorry for him, doesn't help that he has such a cute face.

Ha he does have a cute face.

But yes what he says was mildly irritating at best, a tangerine is not going to ruin my dinner.

thebellagio · 10/11/2022 10:03

I'm only 3/4 of the way through of the first episode. Holy cow that was a hell of an episode so far

Good on Nancy's family for sticking up for her. But as much as I love Nancy, I don't know why she was so surprised when Bartise had been literally telling her openly he wasn't sure. There were so many red flags that it seems odd to completely disregard all of them.

Cole and Zainab - yikes. I do think he treated her poorly. But I think that was just down to immaturity rather than maliciousness. they were so incompatible - she is very much a 'grown up' - I don't want to say uptight because that's not fair, but she's got her shit together and she knows what she wants. I think she should have said no, then said that stuff to him privately. To do it at the alter in front of everyone was way worse than anything he did to her. She was malicious and cruel quite frankly. I'm not defending him, he was a complete tool but I don't think he was ever nasty.

What I find strange is that on shows like Too hot to Handle and Dating & Related, netflix have various counsellers/therapists in place who are there to help the contestants become much better people. I feel like there should be something in Love in Blind where as part of the process, they have to go to couples counselling before they get married. Because this series (while great to watch) was seriously cruel, and I can genuinely see some of these people having real mental difficulties because of it

PoundShopPrincess · 10/11/2022 10:35

It's always been an issue with Love Is Blind. Damian in the first season gave controlling/abusive vibes like Matt this season and it wasn't addressed at all. I think they normalise a lot of dysfunction.

PPop · 10/11/2022 10:51

I really felt for Cole I must admit, he seemed utterly distraught and I felt still a bit in love with Zanab from the way he spoke. Poor chap. I do think he acted like a complete idiot at times (he needs a filter before he speaks for sure) but gosh in front of everyone was awful.
The reactions were clearly what she wanted there.

I didn't enjoy those 5-10mins of the reunion I felt deeply uncomfortable if I am honest as it was so nasty.

How odd was Collettes face during the reunion?! She looked so uncomfortable, and a bit frightened? They don't live together yet also strange imo! Though he did speak highly of her so hopefully all is good...

Weefreetiffany · 10/11/2022 11:00

Oof Zanab really wanted to shame and hurt Cole. How quickly love turned to hate.

Neither of them came off well- he was emotionally immature and self absorbed, but in a way that made me think he’s had some childhood emotional neglect. Her abandonment issues made her push him away with exacting and hostile behaviour, which exacerbated their parent-child dynamic. You could see that in the reunion, callously disappointed parent vs wounded ego child. It was never going to work but hopefully they’ve both gained some insight to make the next one work.

im glad Raven and SK are dating and Brennan and Alexa seem tight and loving. Good for them!

Bartise was never going to be able to redeem himself. That whole forever bracelet thing only to then say I don’t? Get out of here! He wanted her on a string he could pull and push and wipe the floor with her self esteem. Poor Nancy, she really went all in for love, we’ll done to her for that bravery. The way her mum was winding up her brother though, I thought he was going to beat up Bartise. Glad he didn’t. I was proud of Nancy for telling Bartise she was done with him! Absolute preening fuckboi.

MollyRover · 10/11/2022 11:11

Felt sorry for Cole when he was crying and everything but I really feel that it was his own doing. I don't think Zanab was unjustified in saying what she said at the altar, and she's clearly supported by the majority of the cast. Matt and Bartise are not without faults so wouldn't expect them to side with her.

Still disappointed that Nancy said "I do", and don't think enough was talked about wrt Bartises' behaviour. As for the abortion discussion, it was instigated by Nancy and came from a place of knowledge, not just 'Murica god-fearing nonsense. Bartise and his family have no understanding of what Nancy was talking about and no experience. Nancy alone deserved the praise for opening up that can of worms.

So glad that Alexa and Brennon are happy, they genuinely seem like lovely people. Even with the Valley Girl front that Alexa puts on it's abundantly clear that she's a sweet and caring person and comes from a close and loving family.

Colleen and Matt. Ugh. She looks terrified all the time. He seems like a Tom Cruise type. His mother was gurning like a lunatic during the wedding.

MrsJamin · 10/11/2022 11:26

The tangerine thing was ridiculous - as if two small oranges would spoil your appetite! Why would you even say that especially as cameras are rolling. I agree they seem to have some weird parent/child dynamic e.g. the nerf gun while cooking chicken with no seasoning... it was like she was speaking to a 12 year old but he was acting like one!

PoundShopPrincess · 10/11/2022 11:36

Yy I agree about the parent/child dynamic. Taking over in the kitchen was just another manifestation of that.
I much prefer the dignity of the Japanese version. People just left as soon as they were disrespected or realised it wasn't going to work. It makes it seem as though the US ones just stay for screen time or because they've all absorbed very dysfunctional Disney views of relationships.

MrsJamin · 10/11/2022 11:57

It's still really unclear what makes people get all dressed up for a wedding that they know they will say 'no' at - what would make you put your family through that? And surely if it's a 'I might say no' you'd also not go through with it - who would put themselves through a wedding when they're not totally sure? Such a weird show. I assumed it was only money that would make people do that but I read something that said they weren't paid loads to be on the show.

PoundShopPrincess · 10/11/2022 12:04

I think someone said that usually they all know whether they're going to say yes or no and it's just filmed for the format. But they were all acting on the reunion as though the responses were a surprise to them. Maybe it's why some of them don't have family there because they won't put them through that for a TV show.

jay55 · 10/11/2022 12:23

I loved how happy Alexa and Brennan seemed and her reaction to how she came over on screen. Totally able to laugh at herself and not mad about editing.
Of all the couples they actually seem to like each other.

In the past Jessica said she was pushed hard to go through with the wedding when she wanted to leave much earlier.
I think if you've (secretly) let your families know it's a no, it can be a nice day to get dressed up then wasted as a family.

AllOfThemWitches · 10/11/2022 12:53

Alexa really surprised me, I misjudged her. And I hate myself for saying this but she's so pretty without all the makeup.

thebellagio · 10/11/2022 12:55

Shayne said they are legally obligated to go through with a wedding - they can’t call it off beforehand

PoundShopPrincess · 10/11/2022 13:48

They can leave beforehand. Unless the Japan version has different contracts.

jay55 · 10/11/2022 22:10

I love that Iyanna and Natalie watched the reunion together and then called Deeps to discuss.

tattlytote · 10/11/2022 22:21

Am I the only who didn't think Cole was terrible in anything he said about the oranges? If I had seen that interaction with no context I wouldn't have thought anything of that. I think she has painted him in a much shitter light than he deserved.

LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet · 10/11/2022 22:44

I’m surprised people feel sorry for Cole and think Zanab is a nag.

How many threads do we see on MN about man child husbands who can’t wash dishes or pick up their clothes or flush the toilet. Everyone always says “Why are you tolerating this” - it seems that women who aren’t smiley placid Cool Wife Colleens are considered Difficult Women. And of course, it’s easy to look like a nag when you take every moment she asked him to do basic, respectful things like not leave wet towels lying around, and make them into one big Nag Montage.

I also believe Zanab when she says Cole told her he got a girls number. He has a track record of saying nasty spiteful things when they’ve fallen out that he apparently does mean - like ‘Go marry Matt’ ‘We should just switch fiancés’ and ‘Are you bipolar?’. Wouldn’t surprise me if he tried to wind her up about getting a girl’s number.

Im totally fucking sick of living in a world where women are told ‘stand up, be heard, don’t tolerate bad men’ and the second they do ANY of that it’s like “Whoooooa who brought the nag to town? What is her problem?!”

LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet · 10/11/2022 22:47

It’s also interesting how none of the men defended Cole with the whole ‘getting a girl’s number’ thing.

PoundShopPrincess · 11/11/2022 00:16

No-one on here called Zanab a nag.

KurriKawari · 11/11/2022 00:42

What was the clip of Brennan freaking out his wedding about? It was never shown in full.

thebellagio · 11/11/2022 07:25

Anyone else notice that Nancy and Zainab were wearing the same dress?

also their weddings were identical from the plastic are through chairs to the candles lining the aisles.

with the weird clips insinuating Brennon left Alexa I do wonder how much of it was fake

Yutes · 11/11/2022 07:49

Colleen does NOT look happy. Neither does Matt, but Matt kind of scares me.

I have grown to like SK and Raven after initially finding them a bit boring.

Alexa and Brennon seem quite settled, that was a nice surprise.

KurriKawari · 11/11/2022 07:50

Coz it was the same hotel for each wedding I do think they probably filmed back to back weddings.
The dresses were all awful. And the men's clothes weren't any better.

Yutes · 11/11/2022 07:53

Aww poor Nancy. I just don’t think Bartise was emotionally mature enough for her.
