I think he meant she was being cheesy talking about working her way out of poverty etc. Talking in cliches etc. Tbh I don’t care for the whole school of hard knocks ‘I did it My Waaaaaay’ speeches either but maybe he should just STFU aid he doesn’t have anything nice or productive to say, not muttering under his breath like an awkward 14 year old.

I did notice Sophie was different around her parents. Some people have wealth but are nice people.

Who knows what motivates him to do anything… I really feel for Kasia: I cannot think what they must have been discussing all this time if the fact of her age when she got pregnant / where she has lived and for how long etc was all news to him. It’s just bizarre. I mean, I know he’s obvs trying to gloss over any and all specifics as he’s possibly got a whole secret life going on, but they must have had some chats about life!

@BusMum79 @marmiteadict he definitely said Jesus. He said it with black African london accent/ tones. The subtitles were incorrect- it happens.

The Jesus (jeeee sus !) was to emphasise the shock at what kaisia had been through (child mum, poverty, bedsit etc).

I've been thinking about that. I think I'd rather have been paired with Kwame than Tatt. They both have a tendency to lie and manipulate but Matt is so aggressive and uses his height to intimidate. I'd worry Kwame would bore me to death. I'd worry Matt would hit me. I hate even watching him on screen. I realise I may be projecting but he just rings so many alarm bells.

I wonder what sort of waivers they all sign because the producers are putting people at risk by not doing due diligence. There's a few of the men this time that I'd be really unhappy showing them where I lived. Not because I'm super secretive but because they give off stalker/harasser vibes. I'd worry about how to get rid of them after the cameras stop rolling.

I enjoy a ridiculous subtitling error from time to time: got to love a bit of audio detection software or whatever it was that caught that.

It's audio recognition then literally people listening to the soundtrack and correcting/synching errors/grammar, so it would have been picked up by the audio recognition and it sounded so close to cheese sauce that the human intervention wouldn't have noticed 💕

I must say I have been known to blaspheme in front of my toddler, then claim I was saying “cheeses” for fear they might repeat it at their (Catholic) preschool 😉

@Twonewcats software is programmed. If the programmers come from a certain demographic and don't regularly access communities wider than their demographic chances are they won't build in that level of recognition detail.

Yes, the recognition software will recognise many accents, but def not able to distinguish the way he said Jeeesaus. Heck, most of us thought he said cheese sauce, so software had no chance 😀
