As the current thread is restricted only to discussing what is actually happening on the show, I thought I'd set up a spoiler thread where Instagram posts, Daily Mail articles etc are allowed to be discussed.

In no way is this meant to replace the main thread and discussions about the show. Just so that comments that are not allowed are able to be discussed.

I twitched when I watched that because my dad was the same. He’d take great delight in digging away at you and then when you got upset he’d tell you you just had no sense of humour. It’s so horrible.

My brother is the same but I’ve distanced myself from him.

Yeah, it's horrid. My exh used to say something critical, not particularly funny, and then say it was a joke / I'm too defensive. So glad I'm out! Hope Sophie gets rid!

It could be just to mislead us but in the trailer for next week the only couple not shown walking towards their final commitment ceremonies were Thomas and Adrian.

I hope Sophie kicks Johnathan to the kerb too. He has already said he won't fancy her (or want to be with her) if she puts ANY MORE weight on, which suggests he thinks she has enough (possibly a little bit too much) weight on her now. I have noticed that since the start of the process, Sophie has gained weight. Not a huge amount, but certainly some. You can see it in her face.

She is probably better off getting out now, before Johnathan dumps her for being 'too fat.' I don't think she IS fat by the way, but some men - including Johnathan, think any woman with a BMI of more than 20-21 or more than a size 10, is 'fat.'

I just love Adrian. I think those two do really care about each other, but Adrian doesn't want to be another notch on Thomas' bed post.

My ex used to talk about beautiful black women a LOT. No problem with that, absolutely stunning women he would point out.

But when you're, ginger, Irish and freckly (oh and he doesn't like freckles) it starts to make you feel insecure. Very insecure.

Wow rude. Reminds me of a boy I dated - yes BOY, he was not a man - when I was about 18. (He was 20.) He kept on about how much he fancied tall, gangly, brunette women, and how 'hot' a work colleague of his was, as she looked like Cindy Crawford.

I was/am 5 ft 3, blonde, blue eyed, and curvy. The total opposite of what he claimed he liked. He also kept talking about my 'baby fat,' and how I could not only 'pinch and inch,' but could pinch SIX inches. (Around my waist.)

Utter bollocks I had a 25" waist, I was just not 'toned.' And I was 9 stone. Yet he kept commenting about how I would be healthier if I lost 20 pounds or so.

Dumped him after a few months.

Me too!!! He was cringe and naff. Physically, he reminded me of Robin Askwith!

I'm sort of losing interest - dh watches it so it's on. I don't think there's been any attempt at matching really more at drama and personality launching. Some of them were approached to apply apparently (according to Matt on TikTok). Maybe the lesbian couple are an attempt at matching?

Most of them are recruited through an agent who puts them forward for various shows.

I watch Love Island and get plenty of stick for it, but I couldn’t care less! Used to watch Big Brother back in the day (in its Ch4 days) and love me a bit of RHOA. Sometimes a bit of trashy reality tv is what you need 😜😂

@marmiteadict and @browneyes77 anyone who judges anyone for watching reality TV is a hideous snob who thinks they're better than anyone else, and superior to you because THEY don't watch it. Probably claim they don't own a TV, and anyone who does is a dim sheep. This kind of person is booted out of my life immediately, even before they get IN it!

But ti be fair, they seem the most grown up, sorted couple. Both have houses and jobs and feel like adults.
