As the current thread is restricted only to discussing what is actually happening on the show, I thought I'd set up a spoiler thread where Instagram posts, Daily Mail articles etc are allowed to be discussed.

In no way is this meant to replace the main thread and discussions about the show. Just so that comments that are not allowed are able to be discussed.

During the final of Live Island this year, an ad break flashed up the Big Brother eye with the iconic music!

This was followed up next day by announcement that ITV2 are relaunching it next year. Let's hope they don't have wannabes and Instagram influencers and return to the original "experiment".

The MAFS podcast was another good listen today (not sure what days the release them, seems a bit random) - I love having it because no-one I know IRL watches it so it's like an extra discussion 😬

Thomas is constantly on insta live (yes, I know I'm bad looking but it's some kind of morbid fascination). He will most certainly be the type to go to the opening of an envelope, he was all excited about opening a box of fabulosa products fgs. I would say he's almost a certain for BB, and then Celebs go dating, following in the footsteps of gobshite Nikita from last year. Sadly I also predict he will self destruct at some point. He's still damaged from past experiences and he just doesn't deal with things well (some of it's clearly drama but there's definitely an inability to cope with criticism or infact anything he doesn't like).

Commitment predictions we'll have a few couples that stay together but will ditch within 2 months (George and April, MattnTitts, Jenna and Zoe, Tom and Adrian) but I'm going JoHnathan and Sophie to say no, and I think Jordan might say no too.

MAFS au have already cast an influencer for season 10. How bloody boring.

Commitments - George and April, Matt and Whitney, Jenna and Zoe, Sophie and Jonathan, Chanita and Jordan. I don't think Thomas and Adrian will say vows - the lack of sex/attraction thing will make Thomas end it, since Adrian doesn't seem to have any self preservation skills himself.

Still together 4 months post filming - maybe one of them but not sure who to give it to. I might gamble on Matt and Whitney still rolling along in their no expectation, no pressure haze. Chanita and Jordan could still be drifting along as well.

George and April - ended by the arrest, Jenna and Zoe - ended by location and kids thing, Sophie and Johnathan - ended by Sophie's patience running out.

I’ve never watched it before this series, and that was only because of Gogglebox, but I’m hooked. Not defending Johnathan but he’s a joiner, it’s not his lack of earning ability that’s affecting his finances, as anyone who has tried to get any trades in recently will know, it’s that he seems to work in order to pay for travel. Sophie’s dad is a cock in that respect. I work in a related industry and I don’t know many poor skilled tradespeople.

I think he’s in a Whatever Happened to Baby Jane style relationship with his mum.

He looked positively miserable around her, and there was a really and sudden air of negativity from someone who had previously been so happy go lucky and positive. Yet he thinks she’s the best thing since sliced bread.

Its like his mum didn’t like him to have a part of her life she couldn’t control. I think she’s probably a nasty piece of work - it took very little of not-very-logical talking to get Thomas to do a 180 and see things her way. The probing into details of his sex life was so grim and he treated it as normal.

I think she’s bad for him, he doesn’t see that she’s bad for him, and she wants him to be ‘hers’whilst subtely making him miserable

I agree, why isn’t he getting booted for his behaviour? Pretty sure Nikita got booted last year for being gobby.

I was really annoyed by Jordan in the last commitment ceremony.
Chanita mentions that she sometimes feels he's not emotionally supportive, he throws the emotional blackmail 'I'm sad because you're making me feel like I'm not good enough' and then she ends up reassuring him and her concerns are dismissed.
Man baby. He strikes me as the kind of person who needs a 'Good sir Robin' song every time they bring a dirty mug to the kitchen.

There is a programme about that though! Isn't it called something like seven year itch?

I don't know a single person who likes Thomas. OR thinks Kasia is toxic. Also, if Matt (as a big bloke with tats and a deep voice,) behaved like Thomas, why on earth do you think he would be loved?' Thomas's behaviour is vile to the extreme.

Yes I agree @Batceanera George is NOT a good looking man at all. Weird face/weird mouth. Same as Matt. And it's not the tats either. I have no issue with them. It's his eyes and mouth... they are both unattractive to me.

Not being mean (well maybe a bit,) but people are entitled to their opinion - including me.

As for Thomas, I PRAY he is not on Big Brother (or if he is, he gets voted off first,) because he is VILE. He will take over the whole show and bully people (like he has done on MAFS.) The show will be 90% Thomas.

Married at First Sight UK this year, has been the Thomas show. He ALWAYS has something to say, he ALWAYS butts into everyone else's business, and he ALWAYS behaves the same.... shouty shouty waggy finger, 'don't foooking talk to me, don't you foooking dare talk to me... Finally, I have to say, I don't 'buy' Whitney and Matt one single bit. I have a feeling it's a set up. No way in real life would these two go for each other. I just don't believe their 'romance' at all. FAKE!

I feel like I’ve wasted eight weeks of my life with this show. None of the couples have legs and there hasn’t been enough drama to carry it. Too much dragging out of minor issues like the bitching saga and Johnathans foot in mouth moments.

I’m not arsed about final vows as it’s all meh but I am here for the reunion to hear it all come out about the secret girlfriend. I read somewhere there’s going to be a Christmas special that George won’t be apart of, if that’s the reunion and they make us wait til then I’ll be fuuuuuuuuuming!

Re Jonathan and Sophie - does anyone else not get her at all? She wants plaudits for her career but to give it up unreservedly to have kids. A bit mid 20th century

It's not "20th century" to want to stay at home and look after your own children.

To be fair to Sophie she probably wants the choice to be hers whether she returns to work or stays at home. Nobody knows how they are going to feel at the time.

She's only 26 and she did say she was interested in starting her own business. She is not a lazy young woman is she? There's nothing wrong with wanting to stay at home with children while they are little.

I think he should've gone to her home in Manchester and mixed with her friends though. They could've always brought her mum and dad up for a meal. He needs to see how she lives normally i.e. completely differently to him!
