Well, her best friend went with AM so it's nice they can share memories, I guess.

I don't really get the speakie parts either. Probably because they're "now" and I am a little more "then" 🙂

Oh I'm definitely 'then' too. My kind of spoken word was things like Beastie Boys and Rage Against the Machine back in the olden days.

@NoisyBrain I was a Pink Floyd fan. Probably were a few speakies in there somewhere, but very different to these ones.

Must be the perimenopause. The phrase ‘spoken word’ gives me an irrational rage. Same feeling when there is a wistful voice and an ‘earnest’ acoustic guitar.

@ZandathePanda well, I do have a pathological aversion to earnestness but just assumed that was the British way 😂
