Not seen another thread on this, I'm so glad there's something to watch in Saturday night again. I prefer the masked singer but like this too.
Anyone joining in trying to guess the celebs?

Choc I had just booked my booster- and hadn't had covid befor. Then ds got it (for the 3rd time) and dh and me for the first time.

I'm getting better but have had a migraine- which hasn't helped!

I watched 'Glee' so, I know who she is.

But I have no idea if she has been in anything since- and Glee ended years ago.

I watched a couple of series of Glee but have no clue who HM is. And it was a long time ago. Such a damp squib when they had a few bigger stars yet chucked them out early on, only to be left with someone underwhelming to win.

I stopped watching Masked Dancer when it started clashing with Strictly, but isn't having Brittany from Glee dressed as a pair of scissors a bit of a "post-watershed" reference?

They probably need to stop importing Americans to the show. They aren't household names but they are more talented!

Does the American version have random Brits on- like , say Martine McCutcheon or Julian Clary or 'someone off of Sex Education' ?!

Many years of watching Pointless has told me that no US show has reached mass viewing status with the UK public since Friends, but UK TV producers often fail to realise this. Even the cast of Game of Thrones, which was the biggest show on the planet, had relatively small UK cast name recognition apart from Sean Bean.

Masked Singer/Dancer stands or falls by whether people shrug "who?" when the mask comes off, and the producers know this and are normally pretty canny with their casting. The problem is that everyone in the UK TV industry is so aware of the minutiae of the US industry that they have a blind spot on just how famous "hotty from Desperate Housewives" or "One of the leads from Glee" is to a mass Uk audience.

i do recall she and santana in the show did mention scissoring a few times.

but i assumed that was TOO rude to be a clue.
