So far I think it’s way better than the uk series!

My fave’s are Deb & Zita so far from the girls and Timmy and Tarzan from the boys!

The weird kisser is Bria, all that licking eew!

Zeta is being awful Jeff is loads better than Timmy zeta is showing herself up a bit. Serenity has good personality and deb Courtney I just don't get! But yes the uk love island was more like this in early years till they completely filtered it and p.g 'Ed it

It's a lot faster paced and lot more drama than the latest UK series isn't it, feels like way more dumpings and islanders, and challenges. Enjoying it more so far!!

I can’t stand Jesse. He doesn’t seem to want to kiss Deb properly and pulls away as soon as he has the chance then does his false smile thing. If another girl shows even a bit of interest he’s all smiley and flirty. Then it’s back to Deb saying how he is committed blah blah blah.

Yes Jesse is fake and it’s sad because I like Deb, I bet he runs off in Casa Amor!

Sydney wears soooo much makeup! Was surprised by Chazz with 2 z's moving on from Gabi so quickly to Bella, and also Kyle sneaking out with basically no details and Deb and Jesse going back to normal

I have spent weeks avoiding this thread as I was way behind and I’ve managed to catch up tonight with just the finale to go!

i can’t believe more people aren’t watching this. It’s soooo much better than the UK version. The people are more real, more invested, they’re nicer to each other, their bodies are (mostly) real, the fashion sometimes questionable but they’re all much more likeable and honest than we see on the UK show.

I agree, it's much better plus they still have all the stupid challenges and a lot going on where it felt like the UK one this year was so dull with nothing happening except the staged chats. It's so much more natural.

I agree, I thought it would be huge in the US too but the insta figures of the main couples are all sooo low. Don’t look or you’ll get spoilers.
Zita also is an actress not just a babysitter as we’ve been lead to believe.

@FiloPasty i looked last night! Couldn’t help myself as I was so close the the end. I was really surprised to see the absence of blue ticks beside their names! Also - is it just me or does Timmy look a lot better in ‘real life’?

I thoroughly enjoyed it - much better than the UK one was! I wish they hadn’t won though - really don’t think she was into him. I won’t say who I wanted for those still catching up! Much better when it’s faster paced.
