Fgs can't believe Luca is not bottom 3. My dd voted for them, she doesn't see the prob with him, which is worrying, she's 13, spoken to her about toxic, abusive men and red flags, but she doesn't get it.

He was sympathising with Luca TO Luca, then was having a conversation with Paige about the outside world - basically saying, if he’s/they’re like this now, how are they going to handle it outside where people will be all over them.

I always think the pauses are edited to look longer

First of all Adam admitted to all the boys that he enjoyed watching Paige with the other boys in the challenge. Then when Luca asked Adam if he was being unreasonable for not wanting to see Gemma do that he agreed with him and said no guy wants to see his girl do that to another man. Then he was having a conversation with Paige where he was pretty much saying Luca needs to get a grip and it’s going to be far worse when they are on the outside and there’s gonna be loads of guys approaching Gemma.

I wish just one of the guys would have the guts to admit to Luca that his behaviour is possessive. Both Adam and Andrew can see it but don’t want to rock the boat by saying anything to him.

Wow, just watched on catch up. Luca, you absolute prick. I think it's beginning to dawn on Gemma what he's like.

I also didn’t understand the editing when Luca said do you want to be with me and then Gemma said yeah obviously (after a long pause) and then Luca replied well now you can crack on. His reply didn’t make sense to what Gemma said. 🤷‍♀️

Luca is worrying me. His reactions aren’t proportionate. He is not fine. He is acting like a twat.

The thing that I find concerning is that you know Luca is desperately trying to keep a lid on his anger because he knows that it’s not reasonable behaviour. But he STILL can’t help himself. Even on national TV. Can you imagine what he would be like behind closed doors with someone that doesn’t have the decent boundaries and self worth that Gemma possesses? It doesn’t bear thinking about!

@Rollergirl11 it says so much about Adam and Andrew. Adam lacks any integrity and Andrew is so weak, so persuadable.

Luca has assumed the alpha male role in this series, actually reminds me of that test last year that was coupled up with the lovely brummie girl - whatever his name he was similarly toxic. Because he is alpha, no one stands up to him. Andrew is betamale extraordinaire. No backbone.

The other thing about Luca is that he must have been having an almighty strop in the lead up to that argument as it had become such a thing for Gemma to address it.

They didn't show much of his strip on TV but Gemma said he had a face like a slapped arse so you can imagine.

None of the other guys reacted like that, it has to tell you something.

Also, Luca seemed to try to make a point about the fact they are not in a relationship- can't recall the point he was trying to make but I wondered if he was trying to get more of a commitment from her.

There is so much to dissect from the small amount we have seen.

It's definitely misogyny to even refer to it in that negative way. He's basically slut shaming her and trying to project his feelings of shame and inadequacy onto her. She is a very strong lady. I can't believe the other girls aren't calling him out more.

Luca is scary. Hope Gemma ditches him pronto.

Being overdramatic about a challenge (esp when he knows G actually struggles with those type of games)
Giving her dirty looks throughout, making her feel uncomfortable
Then denying he's annoyed when she asks him, implying she's got it all wrong
Then slipping up then blaming G for analysing his words
Then asking her to confirm that he's right to be annoyed at what she was doing
Then telling her she was doing "the most" out of all the girls (😳)
Then saying he'll remember her comment about it being "a challenge" - ie threatening retaliation
Then being petulant when she said she obv wanted to be with him
Then saying he hoped the text would do them both a favour, even though they had allegedly sorted it out 😳
Then putting his hand on her knee 😳

But when he mentioned the text doing them a favour, G looking to the side and chuckling was a perfect response 😅

I'm so glad she's not taking his shit. She said her parents have known each other since nursery, so I think she has prob grown up seeing them in a v comfortable relationship which is where her chilled manner comes from. I really hope her mum is still seeing his red flags

Adam is really playing a game. He isn't genuine with Paige at all though I don't think she is genuine either to be fair.

Luca is coming across badly. As well as being controlling, the way he is throwing strops is so unattractive. Staying in the balcony when she got up to go was awful too. It reminds me of DH sulking and its so unattractive and exhausting.
I'm guessing Gemma's family have rallied their fanbase to vote for Gemma.

Danica is definitely leaving. If Dami and India were bottom, it would have been left to the islanders to decide and they'd be saved.

Luca hates that Gemma called him out on him being annoyed with her over the challenge. Because he wanted her to know he was annoyed but he didn’t want everyone else
to know he was annoyed. Because he knows it makes him look like a possessive twat. So instead he tried to gaslight Gemma in to thinking he wasn’t annoyed with her but rather he was annoyed that she thought he was annoyed. He wants to control Gemma’s behaviour but he wants to do it in a way that only she knows about it and nobody else notices. In effect he’s trying to isolate her whilst pretending to everyone else that he’s not doing anything.
