HiSense Smart TV is telling me to prepare to die!

All I get is adverts for cremations & funeral plans; hearing aids; and equity release!

It's extremely depressing, especially because I am just 44!

It's obviously formed an erroneous profile of me, or it knows something about my mortality that I don't. Perhaps I should see a doctor!

Or do you know is it possible to block/control the categories of advert it shows?

No advice, although the 'just 44' bit made me laugh! This can't be very pleasant for older people though.

Afternoon tv - it’s not really that smart, it just assumes if you are watching tv in the afternoon you are old, infirm whatever.
I do my ironing late afternoon once the work/ walks etc are done and it’s always the same even on a dumb tv.
and yesterday, listening to the radio in the car in the afternoon, there was a discussion about funeral plan companies going bust… it’s all very depressing , but I am 60 😂
