If Ekin-Su hadn't made such a big deal out of it the following day, she would have got away with it. Davide seemed fairly relaxed until then. However, I think she's probably got away with it, thanks to her "we're just friends"and getting out of bed.

Luca seemed more annoyed with Billy than Gemma so think they'll be fine.

What a surprise Luca absolutely raging about some extremely minor flirting between Gemma and Billy. He generally comes across as a bit of a plank (and always has done) but now he looks angry and mean.

Just caught up. The cut away shots of Deji just cracking into the popcorn and casually watching the drama in his suave jacket are bringing me life.

Is Billy good looking? I can't see it. He's like someone's annoying little brother. People who think they're crazy and funny are usually the opposite!

I feel for Tasha and I really hope they will NOT show the girls bitching about her because I think that would do untold damage to her and would be cruel.

Davide needs to get over himself. His main/only concern is being publicly humiliated and how he is perceived. He would have been a good match with Gemma for the show. Both of them would have been very image conscious and helped one another along to the final.

DH lowered himself agreed to watch Love Island tonight, so I asked him about the 'alternative male presenter' quandary.

His top suggestions are Richard Ayoade or David Attenborough.

To be fair, I can't argue. It would bring an entirely different dynamic, but I think I'm here for it.

Some one upthread said they couldn't understand the dislike for Dami. For me it's what he said on unseen bits weeks ago about eating bogies. I will never get past that.

I am really not warming to any of the contestants this year. Looking at that poll upthread of which person I’d most spend a holiday with, I’m really struggling. Idk if it is the changes this year as it seems way more serious or perhaps because they’re taking themselves too seriously.
