Gemma and Indiyah are acting like doormats and at the same time refusing to acknowledge the sheer awfulness of Luca and Dami.

I hope against hope that the 4 of them come lowest in the votes now.

Why on earth has Gemma not dumped the little tool? Can't actually believe my eyes.

I think we're building up to something between Paige and Dami. We have always been shown their cosy one to one chats in a way that we haven't with other non-coupled up islanders.

Having witnessed Davide kissing quite a number of girls I've come to the conclusion that he's just not that good at it.

😂It's an edited game show, with everybody trying to cop off with everyone else. All the time. They're encouraged to do so.
The whole concept is to play with each other heads.
On the one hand, Tasha says Luca is her best friend, on the other, he's digging at her. It looks like Tasha has been a flaky pants. Andrew, 'You were the one for me all the way thru the show', yet she wanted to get to know everyone one else.
That's why she was in the bottom grouping on the votes every time.
I don't see the chemistry at all.

I do think this yr the paranoia and mugginess have been ramped up a notch. There are no real solid couples. Cringe tv.
The arguments last yr were a lot more intense.

I do think Luca might have lost the first place by his ridiculous antics. Also lost out on a lot of brand deals who now won’t touch him.

I'd love to see Luca and Dami in the bottom 3 and Gemma have a light bulb moment. Their behaviour was appalling.

I hope that Gemma's mum can have a quiet word with her when she goes in. She can tell her that companies are vying with each other to stock her swimwear range, so she can drop Luca now. Job done.

Dami is a narcissist. I know that this term is always banded around, but if you look at the nine signs of a narcissist you will see that Dami has so many of these traits.
The lack of empathy, the love bombing , the detachment, the refusal to apologise. The list goes on..

Luca hasn’t got over the fact that Tasha chose Andrew over him. I think that blondes are his usual type.
Also, Luca is a misogynistic prick and doesn’t believe a woman should explore her options when it comes to relationships

With just under two weeks to go anyone could win at this point. Let's face it, just a week ago it was Tasha and Andrew under fire and being wished off, now people are voting for them because everyone else is so bad. Anything could happen in the next week.

Luca is a really nasty little bully. The way he kept shouting over at the girls during movie night, the way he crashed Andrew and Tasha's conversation after it, the way he behaved towards Danica when she picked him to couple with, his response to Danica picking him for the most needy islander, the 'you only pied me because I pied you in week 1' comment towards the girls last night - deeply unpleasant man. Deffo one of those men who's like 'I'm a cheeky chappie me! I have a great sense of humour!' but his humour consists solely of picking on others and he can't handle even the smallest joke at his expense. Men who treat any woman they're not attracted to/who isn't attracted to them like shit are a huge red flag; I hope Gemma sees this.

Ekin Su is also really annoying me tbh. The constant need for attention/to be in a guy's top 3 ('omg is he going to pick me?' when Adam was picking girls for dates - she's not got a god-given right to be in someone's top 3 just because she's gobby), and her reaction last night when Tasha picked her and Davide as the fakest couple - she's another one who can dish it out but not take it. I don't think she's a girls girl - the mask slips every now and then, especially with women she's threatened by (esp Paige - don't think she sees Gemma as competition because of the age difference).

@TauCeti I agree about ES. She isn’t a girls girl and is attention seeking and dishonest. It can make for good TV but I think if a man were behaving like they we would all be calling it out.

soooo disappointing to see Gemma and Indiyah just roll over to these pathetic men. I take on board what others have said though, there isn’t exactly an escape for them though.

I would love for Gemma and Indiyah to choose one another in a recoupling and bin Dami and Luca. I don’t know which one of them is worse but on balance maybe Dami as he is clever enough to be able to hide a lot of his misogyny. Luca’s isn’t even dressed up as anything else.

Would be nice if Tasha wasn't for once but I can't call it for the girls right now. Paige who has been consistently near the top on app polls could be in trouble as she'll have lost the sympathy vote to the others.

I don’t care how much good editing is done in the next couple of weeks, if either Luca or Dami is in the winning couple it will totally send out the wrong message. You can’t just gloss over all their bad behaviour, it has been really uncomfortable viewing a lot of the time.

Also don’t understand how Tasha is slated by Luca and Dami for daring to even think about getting to know other boys but they have been fine with Ekin Su playing games…….almost like they are picking on Tasha as they think she is unpopular with the public.

I'm actually quite worried about tonight's episode - giving men like these freedom to smash something into women's faces is probably going to be quite upsetting. I think it will turn nasty.

As everyone else has said Luca is just being a bully now. His double standards are shocking and his mask has well and truly slipped. I'm glad Andrew stood up to him last night. Also they kept going in about Tasha being upset but she wasn't it was Andrew?!

Paige is driving me mad too, the 'hubby buns' and baby voice is so fake. She clearly doesn't like Luca so I like her for that.

I agree. Not the best series by any definition. Hard to invest in any of the contestants really. They are an odd bunch.

In order for LI to continue, I feel like the producers need to do an overhaul of the show.

• The presenters: Replace Laura, I love her generally but she doesn’t fit in with LI. She had big shoes to fill after CF, and she never really came into her own in the show. I’m sure that would mean IS would also leave, which would be crap as he is the voice of LI but I’m sure they could find someone else marginally funny.

• The contestants: we need to have a fucking minimum age limit. A 19 y/o however sensible they may be, isn’t genuinely looking for love and if they are, they really shouldn’t be! It’s uncomfortable watching a teen tash on with a 30 year old, whether it is boys or girls.

• Let’s have NORMAL people join, yes okay, no one wants to see someone heinously unattractive (that isn’t going to get the ratings up) but please stop with the influencers and the people with many followers. The show will result in blue ticks and verification anyway, let’s give normal people a chance. I’m tired of seeing models, and famous kids, I want to see bricklayers and shop assistants. Normal folk.

• Casa Amor: either have Casa for longer OR have less people. It’s annoying and I hate this part of the show.

• Recognise the impact: LI is watched by hundreds of thousands of people. Many of
them are YA. Think about the impact of our young people by watching people as toxic as Luca, as manipulative as Dami, as aggressive as Jacques and as naive as Indiyah, as relenting as Paige and as appeasing as Gemma. Fuck be kind, think about the ramifications of our young people mimicking this awful behaviour.

• Prize: allow the cash, allow the money element. It’s a game, yes but don’t make it about £££. That way you’ll see all the game players fall away (the Jakes, the Lucas)

Truly hope this is the last season I watch cus I’m either too old for this shit or this cast is abysmally silly af.
