I'm new to love island and wondered how this one compares to previous seasons? Is there a favourite season? I often find with these type of shows that the contestans become more knowing and the early ones are better. Can you still get past seasons online?

2/3 was my best And probably 4 but 2/3 was best They use to be so much better this is probably the worst! Think they are available on itv hub

Better characters would be huge improvement.
Feeling quite fond of Davide and ES, I think because they're a bit more mature, would like them to make it to the end.

The older series use to have older people in it there’s been 30/31 year olds can’t see that happening now!

The one with Chris and Ken in was the first I watched. There was a lot of drinking and smoking going on back and it seemed much more unscripted. It was great.

In the previous ones, some contestants seemed to develop real feelings for one another and stopped playing it like a game.

Literally don’t know how the cope for eight weeks with only alcohol free Prosecco. It must get so boring doing the same thing, at the same time every day!

I’ve read they have a drink limit, something like 2 small drinks maximum?

not sure how I feel about that, I agree it’s not ethically great to ply them with lots of alcohol for drink drama BUT 2 drinks seems a bit harsh. Maybe an extra one or two for occasions like ‘parties’ which would then actually make it a bit more special for the islanders as I still haven’t quite worked out what is any different when they have one.

Seems odd to think they used to show smoking. I like to guess who the smokers are though!

Think we can guess Jaques is a smoker.
I thought lasts nights was really boring.

I think whoever has the most natural personality that isn't robotic reading the producers instructions should be chosen.

I never get how any of the girls never know where any other places are. Chyna not knowing Edinburgh was in Scotland for example.
