I was the same. Couldn't bear to see that photo and imagine...

Poor, poor family.

Oh yes I saw that and I was in tears. She is a real inspiration. I thought she was so brave and Fern was obviosuly really moved.....it was a lovely touching story.

Me too ! I was ironing and had to sit down as I was sobbing so hard.
What an inspiration the mummy was.

How on earth would you begin to deal with the death of a child let alone think about organ donation.

Brave, brave family.

The thought of your little one enabling another child/ adult to live their lives, and in a way, your child living on in others would be a comfort.
But, and I suspect many parents would feel as I do, be distraught at the thought of what the body would go to to retrieve the organs.

A very important and necessary item on 'This Morning'. That photo will stay with me for a very, very long time.

I looked after a little girl who donated her organs and we found out she wanted to because her brother told us they had talked about it and she had told him that if anything happened to her she would want her organs donated she was 11
