well, dh is coming home today after nearly a week in hospital with what turned out to be 5 fractured ribs. Which is going to be fun. He's a terrible patient.

my DH is also a terrible patient. Refuses to take anything that might alleviate whatever symptom he has and carries on until he can’t, whereas if he’d just taken the bloody tablets and sat down the migraine would probably have passed as an example.

Looks like Al is going to solve in an hour what the CDC could t do in a month then.

Dh fell off a ladder doing football things- i have limited sympathy, if I'm honest, because of all the week,s I'm at the end of my tether. The house is upside down, I'm stressed and tired - and dh just keeps texting demands from his hospital bed.

Al will solve everything, won't he? Unfortunately, he is going to annoy everyone else in the process.

Oh no, not you as well Raahh. I haven't been watching because in the same week that DD started college and DS went off to uni and the Queen died my DH came off his mountain bike going too fast in the pouring rain in the dark and guess what (although he hasn't been to the Dr) - fractured or at least badly damaged ribs. So guess who had to do all the packing, driving, lifting and shifting of DS to uni. You have my sympathy, at least mine works outside the home and can just about manage to drive himself there and back.

Especially! it's rubbish, isn't ? I am not happy, because of how it happened (he was putting nets for a pre-season football friendly match for the team he runs, fell off a ladder. He is not a small man. ). so, it was already anoying me, not essential (his football commitments are a bone of contention) -and now he's useless at a time I really can't be doing with the stress. This couple of weeks was always going to be an upheaval- but now I feel like I'm permanently cross.
