For: Luca - seems to have a personality, fairly amusing so far. Andrew - can't really think of any.

@Zampa even worse is that Luca asked her favourite sex position and then didn’t use that information in the challenge so I reckon he wasn’t even listening. Paige didn’t seem best pleased!

Think I'm #TeamLuca too. For reasons Zampa mentioned but also I think that whilst neither is ugly I think Luca is slightly better looking . Yes I realise that's rather shallow of me

He wasn't that unique, depending on your social circle of course. I don't think it's beyond the realms that someone acts in a similar way but aren't copying or trying to emulate him!

Sorry, Ovie was God tier IMO and unlike any other islander before or after.

And if you say 'message' instead of 'I've got a text' of course you're copying the only other person to have said it.

Catching up on last nights episode.

I think Luca is quite shy and out of his comfort zone so far based on how he didn't sleep the first night, had his hoodie zipped up in bed and how he was in the challenge.

Gemma is far too young for this. The last two years - formative years age wise - have been spent in lockdowns and limited social contact and prior to covid she was a child. She's coming across as quite rude and arrogant but I don't know if that's because of her age and attempts at masking nervousness? She doesn't seem to have smiled properly yet so I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume the latter. Time will tell.

Tasha seems lovely - bubbly and very smiley, as does Paige. Davide still doesn't seem to have much about him.

I won't ever forgive Luca for being so crude/shallow/boring in his first chat with Paige. Gemma was rude to him about his surname and I don't like her either. And Davide choosing Gemma was boring and SO predictable. So those 3 are the ones I want to see kicked out first.

Not partucularly feeling the Tasha love. Why do people like her? she does that annoying vocal fry thing and seems to be determined to get away from Andrew asap.

Agree with this. But totally perplexed with a previous PP who likened Tasha's apparent 'vocal fry' to Lucinda from last year. Tasha was deaf until her recent cochlear implant. I'd say that probably has a massive influence on the way she speaks.

Also, I'm disgusted at the amount of chat and deliberate mis pronunciation and mis spelling there's been about a Turkish name. Would you do that if she was Black, Asian, Celtic? I bloody hope not! Make a bloody effort to pronounce someone name correctly. It's not that difficult.
