Just been on to catch up on what I'd missed and the thread has gone?! Anyone have any idea why?

They have caterers for meal times with chaperones around and apparently if anything juicy comes up in conversation they are made to re film it at another time. Also if any smoke they have to go one by one out of the villa

I don’t get the impression Gemma is dying to reveal her ‘big secret’, just that everyone assumes she wants people to know but I don’t know why

Gemma doesn’t really come across like she has a sense of humour.

I saw 15 mins of Uncut bits and Paige described Gemma has resting bitch face.
Which I thought was spot on 😀

Oh and Dami said Gemma was very PG which pretty much sums up Love Island now.

Unseen bits showed Paige to have a really good sense of humour and up for a laugh. You don’t see this side of her in the normal program. I wish they would include the more lighthearted stuff throughout the week. You get more of a sense of their true personalities than what we usually see!

Both about the need to see more of the islanders just goofing around, and about Paige.

And I loved it when they showed extra bits of the first challenge and one dare was for one to describe each other Islander in one word. and Gemma was described as RBF (she took it well)

And I don't know if they deliberately selected bits that showed the boys looking really dim, or if a couple of them are really like that all the time.

She seems very dull to base a whole tv show on. It pretty much one of the main comments I'm seeing.
It's true its so rubbish it being all about her forgetting the fact she's not at all entertaining of anything.

I've already stopped watching this series as they seem like such a bunch of dullards. Might pick it back up later on, but in the meantime just checking in to say does any else think Davide bears a really striking resemblance to Dean Gaffney? I can't unsee it!!

Frankly I'm amazed at how many exes 19 year old Gemma has had, especially as we've had years of on and off lockdown.

An achievement in itself

I do like Paige. There was one little moment when she started a completely natural conversation with Luca in the kitchen (when they were still a couple) and he was telling her all about Tasha and then Gemma and how he felt about them and then tossed in a "but of course I still really like you too" and I felt so sorry for her that she'd been lumbered with this ABSOLUTE COCK of the highest order and deserves so much better.

Luca is my least favourite so far, can you tell? Wanker.

I won't assume she's slept with all her Ex' s. A boyfriend could mean anything to Gemma.

Loving Paige on extra bits, she seems just so naturally lovely. I don’t understand why none of the boys seem to rate her! Her comment about Gemma’s RBF was so funny. Gemma is so serious, no fun about her at all. I though we might see her having some sort of a laugh on extra bits but no nothing whatsoever. I really like Amber too. Another naturally nice girl.

The bit where Paige, Tasha and the lads were trying to make up a rap was great. These are the bits we need to see on the nightly show not all this shite about time three etc. There’s no flow whatsoever, obviously cos they monitor every conversation. It’s so manufactured which is a shame.

Yes, when she was talking about Davide being older a few days ago, she said something like 'it doesn't bother me, I've dated and talked to lots of guys who are older than me'.

Especially in lock down, a 'date', was probably just a texting sesh!

Having not liked Gemma, and I think I still dont, I have to say in the last few days I've slightly relunctantly come around to her as I think maybe her 'bitchiness' IS her sense of humour?
Like, I think, maybe, she is has a very dry sense of humour? Esp. When talking/flirting to the guys..
For example when Luca was saying should he bring her orange juice etc and she said 'Absolutely NOT'
I thought, hang on, you're kind of funny...
Maybe I'm being optimistic.

I don’t dislike Gemma I think it’s early days everyone thought amber (Gill?) was rude/bitchy at first but she ended up winning so 🤷‍♀️

And having been a Luca fan, I do now agree now that he is a bit of a wally and probably a bit untrustworthy.
I do think he's entertaining and funny though, it'd be boring without him.
As the said on The Morning After podcast, he literally just says everything he thinks without thinking. Sometimes its stupid, sometimes its funny. I think he means well and is genuine, but is a bit selfish and thoughtless sometimes.
