I feel the same .. but to be honest I don't think there is a lot of natural flowing conversation between any of them ? Every single " can I pull you for a chat " starts with " how you feeling " " Yh I'm good how's you feeling " where's the .. holy fuck what are you wearing ? My mates's nan's neighbour wears them shoes in the garden ! To be replied with " ya cheeky git! at least my fake tan goes all the way into my armpits ya skank" followed by a nice laugh and a snog ?

I disagree about Gemma. I don't think she actually wants people to know who her dad is. I think she knows they'll eventually find out, but wants to hold off as long as possible so a boy there chooses her for herself and not who her dad is

She may be out of luck in that case. Just asked DS age 17 if he knows who Micheal Owen is and he did.

Apparently he is a valuable player on FIFA so if any of them play it on the xbox/play station they'll know.

Anyone with any interest in football will know who he is, even if they're youngsters. He pops up often giving his views on matches.

My DSis is a teacher and said most of the girls in her year 10 tutor group had no idea who he was!

I can see that girls wouldn’t but most boys that are in to football would absolutely know who Michael Owen is.

Completely agree that the boys in the house will know through football pundit/ FIFA etc.

The girls may not but that's who Gemma is aiming to impress.

It's not. I can't stand the noise of people eating and cutlery on plates. The kissing slurp noises are bad enough.

But we could miss all the important gossip

Apparently there are chaperones at dinner that monitor conversation topics so nothing gossip or show worthy can be said off camera, according to past islanders

I heard they separate the guys and girls as well so they don’t say anything that is missed for the main show but don’t know how true that is, it was someone who was on the show before that said it
