Ahh this is brilliant thank you! We love ghosts, I saw the very last 10 mins of detectorists so I feel like I've spoilt it. Will look through the list.

Agree with Detectorists (beautiful gentle comedy)
30 Rock (smart, zingy, American writing)
Lovesick (young/studenty quite sweet comedy)

5 bedrooms - Australian drama on iPlayer

The Other One - first series was better than the current one I think.
Stath Lets Flats.
Kath and Kim, if you can find it (Australian comedy from early 2000s)

Here we go on BBC, it's got Katherine Parkinson (IT Crowd) in it, half hour post pandemic set comedy, also Pandemonium, same family but set during the pandemic, probably need to watch that one first.

Another Detectorists fan here and also Modern Family and The Middle

Have also been enjoying Watching on Forces TV; Liza Tarbuck is really good in it - I love her radio 2 show too. Patsy Byrne had brilliant comic timing too, there’s a lovely moment when someone tries to help her take her coat off but she hasn’t unfastened one of the buttons - LizaTarbuck in shot trying to control her laughter as Patsy steps out of her coat.
