I just couldn’t get over the time setting of the Bosch series. Loved his house though.

You mean because its set in the present day and he isn't a Vietnam vet? Yeah I was a bit thrown by that too.
Yes loved his house too but I think I'd be a bit freaked out by it because of the stilts!

In the books it’s set - 80s? So no mobile phones etc! I don’t remember his daughter appearing much (she is a little girl in the ones I’ve read).
