what a shame! I would love to go on it, but sadly am lacking in bottle. What a shame that your friend's DH is acting in that way.

Actually although it does seem a bit mean I can kind of see his point. I for example would be horrified if my friends nominated me for that and I don't think that dp would be too keen either. In a way it does reflect on their lives. that said the production team will probably try again if they sense she does actually want to do it.

Carmenere she actually asked me to nominate her and when we all spent New Year together he made out he was really pleased saying 'oh yeah that would be great' two faced fucker (must remember to try and be nice)

But is he the reason that she has low self image Moss? ie, is he controlling and doesn't want her to feel good in case she leaves him for someone nice?

i dont think so, he's a very nice gentle kinda guy I worked with him years ago, then he ended up working with dh and me and his wife became like soulmates.
However he's not the most attractive of men and I do think he may be threatened a bit. However she's got plenty of confidence just not body confidence.

I dont know I'm just so upset, they said they have thousands of applicants and I think to be picked was fab and would have been so wonderful for her because shes so gorgeous and such a wonderful person she really deserves it. I just think some things in life you shouldnt turn down and this is one of them!

hey - could I be your friend and appear instead. I have no DH to give an opinion, but only if I can starve myself from now until filming ..... no way am I getting all my wobbly bits out on TV as they are today
