The one thing that I thought when I was watching the Ukranian entry perform was why they dressed two of their group up as car wash brushes? I don't know if they are some sort of national costume but I'd seriously doubt that.

The bookies only got 7/10 of those qualifiers (they had Austria, Latvia and Albania instead of Iceland, Lithuania and Switzerland)

Just spotting this thread now, I'm sorry I didn't see it earlier. I'm so sorry Austria didn't get through, they're actually my fav! But my other favourites, Greece and the Netherlands are through so I'm happy enough.

I got Albania and Switzerland reversed.

Surprised at Switzerland but I think it was a good live performance despite the song being pretty boring. I thought more people would vote for Albania since it was so twerky, though I didn't like it.

OMG - U.K. have overtaken Italy in the bookies odds, and are cute second favourite to win. We might not come last!

It's soooo much better than the last few UK entries.

For those commenting on costumes, there is an actual "Worst Costume" award each year, named after Barbara Dex. Armenia's big beige suit is the front runner for that one so far, though the car wash costumes might be in with a shout!

Quite liked the rock band but not sure if they are through? Cannot remember the country.

Will be leaving my book club early so I can watch it on Saturday! It aly was such an easy win last year.
