Absolutely brilliant. DH and I both loved all the books, and the first series is a very faithful adaption of the first book.

We enjoyed the first series very much - it had just the right mix of humour, drama, suspense, intrigue, interesting characters and like pp, I covet the MP's kitchen....

OK. I still don't think that excuses or explains the appalling accent though...

Good spot. He's suppressing a Scottish accent. Saw him on Graham Norton and was gobsmacked.

I love the first & second seasons. I cant wait for season 3 to appear.

One of my favourite programmes at the moment. Can't wait for season 3 to drop.

Unfortunately DH has taken to mimicking Lamb and wanders into the lounge saying 'you're all fuuckking useless!' Thanks for that.
